Rashaad Forehand
This place is visually stunning as soon as you walk through the front door with this distinct chandelier and modern decor. It has a unique check-in area that includes a bar and a decent amount of seating for those who want to hang around and have a drink. The rooms are well appointed and have a modern feel as well. The service is good not quite five star level but really good. I definitely will stay here again. It also has a rooftop bar where you can get drinks and see a good view.

Had an event at the S/O but didn’t stay here. Booking to event it was a smooth process and great service. They had a decent affordable breakfast spread in the package. The meeting rooms are in the basement which is a shame with no natural light, that’s a great Place for spas not meetings. The seats weren’t clean, stained etc so didn’t give a great feel to the look but their service was good.
Rangi Te-Au Piri
Beautiful place. Rooms were very nice. Swimming pool and spa and sauna were awesome! ♥️ Location pretty good to walk around. Just really cold and windy. But the hotel itself was amazing! Staff were lovely ♥️ Couldn’t try the rooftop bar. Had no time. But, Definitely be back to try that.

Room was lovely, as was the rest of the hotel. However, the Key to the City deal that we tried to use was not valid, which was disappointing and then made for expensive drinks! Also, the anniversary "gift", although unexpected, was a little underwhelming! 3 mandarins for a 23rd wedding anniversary...? I am not sure this would have been what we would have received elsewhere! Sorry to sound ungrateful. I must say that the staff were wonderful, both on reception, valet parking and at breakfast the next day. A credit to the hotel

I had an amazing experience during my stay! The hotel facilities are excellent, everything is well-maintained and modern. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and pleasant, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. The staff were always attentive and helpful, which made my stay even better. I would definitely come back many times and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality and comfort in New Zealand. My stay exceeded all expectations!
