The Heywood & Fairhaven room is a versatile 173.5m2 venue that can fit up to 140 people theatre style – perfect for conferences and private events including birthdays, christenings, baby showers and bridal showers. It can also be used for Christmas luncheons and presentations. The room comes with flexible set-up options. Depending on the configuration of the desks and chairs, we can cater for between 40 and 140 people. The room comes with state of the art projectors and modern furnishings. Our services also include event catering for all your attendees, pre and post conference activities, pads, pens, mints and iced water on tables as well as free Wi-Fi access and AV equipment.

I was at a wedding last night and the manager of the hotel, Mitchell, provided the most amazing service that I had to leave a review, a rare thing for me. I could see he was run off his feet, however after meeting Mitchell, whenever I would make eye contact with him, he was straight up to me to assist. Unfortunately I had to be a little difficult throughout the night with some outlandish requests. Every request was met with a smile and he would go above and beyond to assist me and my group along with his team. He has left a lasting impression on me, and next time I am in Sydney, I’ll be making sure to stay with Rydges just to have a conversation with Mitchell again. Thank you Mitchell for all your hard work, and I hope there is no hard feelings with everything I asked!

Positives: very friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable bed, dinner was nice. Negatives: breakfast via room service was poor. Waited ages, my daughters was cold and no butter for the toast. I orders the açai bowl and it would have to be the worst food I’ve ever been served (plus no spoon!!) so I shared my daughters cold breakfast instead. Rooms are a little dated. Dinner in the restaurant had zero atmosphere/music etc Overall it would be ok to stay here for a quick overnight stay but I wouldn’t go back.

We just went for their high tea. It was really nice and we were surprised when they brought out a selection of warm pieces too. Nice bonus. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Great location for the Norwest Business Park. Rooms are tidy, comfortable, however the in room tv experience is outdated. Also, the pool would be great if it was open from 6am. The Brekky crew aren’t overly friendly when you’re paying $30/head.

The pricing is expensive when you have outdated LED TV’s that don’t have smart features. You can’t watch any streaming platforms unless you have a laptop and an HDMI cable. They dont even offer Foxtel or their own movie or entertainment channels. All that is on offer is free to air television. The room is extremely outdated with cabinets in the bathroom that are a trip back in time to 1992. The phone in the bedroom looks like it’s from the same era. Comparably priced hotels offer smart televisions and modern bathrooms and bedrooms. It’s disgraceful to offer this pricing. Their pictures look fancy but the reality is what you see is not what you get.
