26/7/25 - 3 stars A fairly new establishment in Burwood and one of the very few bars. Like many other bars, the lighting is dim and there is music which was live when I visited. Normally this would be great, but, the music was too loud and you could barely hear the person next to you. Music itself wasn't bad and ironically the non-live music ended up being better as it was of more appropriate volume. Service is otherwise alright. Melon Punch: B, 6/10. Basically watermelon juice with some bubbles. $22 Miss Pink: A, 7/10. Passionfruit liquer was nice, though overall too sweet.

The food, atmosphere, and service were impeccable. The staff were incredibly polite and attentive to our needs, and we genuinely recommend others to dine here. We would like to thank everyone for accommodating us — we truly appreciated the warm hospitality. From the moment we stepped into the building, the security team kindly assisted us to the restaurant, instantly making us feel like VIPs. When we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly, guided us to our table, and made sure we would have a wonderful experience. Throughout the entire birthday dinner, our waitress continuously checked in on us and ensured we had everything we needed. Again, thank you to the entire team for providing such amazing service.

I had a fantastic meal here . The steamed barramundi was incredibly fresh, tender, and cooked to perfection and the white chicken was equally impressive soft, juicy, and full of natural flavor.

Lucked upon Fat Cat via a general Internet search and had no idea what to expect (IG page wasn't that clear to me) but I thought it was going to be fun. It was better than fun, it was magical. The menu was interesting, in a good way, and we enjoyed many dishes but the stand out was the crab meat, quail egg & cheese entree with the golden spoon! Our waitress was attentive and the fit out was fabulous. I felt like I had discovered a Sydney treasure.

Service was very attentive and food was great. Pretty shocked with the quality of the mains, as they were very much exceptional (especially the angus steak). Enjoyed dining at Fat Cat and will love to try their other menus. Left satisfied and will come back in the near future.
