Being an interstate visitor, I found this place to be eclectic, informative and a great use of the old powerhouse building. Loved the aesthetic of it, the exposed beams and the history of the building. They do concerts, shows and the food menu looked good too. Next time for sure. Would recommend a visit.

Incredibly disappointing. Such a large space from the outside but very little space devoted to art on the inside. Two smallish rooms with media installations on the ground floor and one entirely closed gallery because of a problem with sculpture. A mezzanine level with a few works hung. The focus seemed to be on the commercial in the form of a large cafe/coffee shop taking up the most space in the building. Levels 2 and 3 are staff only. Gosh. There must be a lot of staff. Where were all the western Sydney artists and multicultural theme so proudly boasted by Liverpool council on the website. A complete waste of time for art lovers.

Visited the art centre in the weekend. It is an interesting old industrial building made of red brick with a tall metal chimney. The art gallery inside had a varied range of art work related to nature and the environment. There was some interesting pieces, I’d recommend this place to everyone. There was toilets, cafes, plenty of parking and it’s located near the train station.

We attended the Fright Night last night, it was so much fun exploring parts of the powerhouse the average person probably wouldn’t get to see. We’re definitely coming back during the day to see the art installationsZ

Although it is a small museum, there is heaps to see. And it is worth a visit. When i visited, there was an interesting exhibit on where your voice lit up lights and echoed your voice back to you. There is a cafe with indoor and outdoor seating as well as a kids' play area outside. It's close to public transport. Well, really, it is the only building close by the train station.
