Queen Chow has become my local - the place I go when I want a really good meal, and a really good cocktail. The food is always excellent - big flavours, fresh ingredients, just delicious. Try the dumplings, the prawn toast and the sweet and sour pork (yes, I know... against all odds it's really very good - crunchy and sweet and fresh from the pineapple). Desserts are also top rate. The staff are delightful and incredibly easygoing. A seat at the bar on a Sunday afternoon, some dumplings, a cocktail to two. This is the good life.

Second time here after a few years and have to say food was a little underwhelming. Cold dumplings, prawn toast was absolutely delicious and the standout. Fried rice average, honey pork was decent. Overall though felt like overpriced Chinese food. Venue still lovely and good service.

We had dinner at Queen Chow on Lunar New Year's Eve. As always, love the decor and the atmosphere. The burrata with Chinkiang vinegar and Chinese fried bread was the food highlight, being an original and unusual fusion dish. Steamed half shell scallops were fresh and delicious. We also had pork and kingfish dumplings, Peking duck and 'Char Kway Teow' noodles – all nice but not better than versions you'd have elsewhere. Eggplant mapo tofu claypot was a letdown – there was no eggplant (our main reason for ordering it) and the taste was bland. Service was good – polite and efficient on a busy night. The lion dance to celebrate the occasion was great!

For some reason, Queen Chow has become my happy place restaurant. My personal Top 10, whenever I feel like good food and a place that makes me happy. Whether it is lunch or dinner, I love the different vibes each visit. The consistency is always the fun, happy music in the background, great food - no matter what I've ordered so far - and fabulous service. I absolutely love the decor and set up of the place. Peking duck was delicious, although the pancakes were slightly thicker than usual. The highlight of the night was definitely the lobster. It was super delicious as the Chinese said - it has the heat and fire from the wok. You would think it is easy to do.. heat from the stove and wok... toss it around. I'm telling you it takes skills and practice and years of it. Great wine selection and the desserts were distinct in flavour and absolutely beautiful. Rich flavour from the deep fried ice cream followed by the palette cleansing granita. Is the best combination to end the night with my family. Thank you for looking after us. We had a great night.

Best food I've had in a long time. The quality of the food and unique flavors are such a hook. We'll be back for sure. Really good service and drinks as well. I recommend the burrata and tuna ceviche for starters and the beef and queen fried rice as the main. You'll probably need a reservation if it's a Friday or Saturday. You gotta give them a try ❤️
