Great variety of different locations within the venue, food flavour, size and value for money was to standard for lunch as well. Parking directly out the front, bar staff could be more observant for those paying their wages opposed to their own phones giving them nothing but a distraction for why they applied for the job - tighten up on a no mobile phone policy.

Forest Hotel was pretty nice! Very busy when we arrived and took a while to order drinks from the bar. Food said it would take 45 mins but it ended up coming super quickly in about 15-20 minutes. Food was tasty and was also pretty big portions. I had the fried chicken burger which was super crispy and had a nice flavour. The chips needed a bit of salt but were pretty good. Overall food was decent.

I recently visited The Forest Hotel and had a great time! The food and drinks were excellent—especially the pizza and cocktails, which were delicious. The atmosphere is also fantastic, with both indoor and outdoor areas that make it a great spot to chill with the gang. The only downside was the service, which was quite slow. We had to wait longer than expected for our food and drinks. If they could improve on that, it would be perfect! Overall, still a great place to hang out, and I’ll definitely be back.

Had lunch there today which consisted of two pear and pomegranate salads with chicken and another with Halloumi cheese. Both had a light sandy grit in them through out the meal, possibly from not rinsing the salad mix. Both of these weren’t great especially for the price…. They used to come in a large bowl last time I was there and were awesome… yet these were on a plate and portion size was much smaller. The chicken was thin, cold and unflavoured probably straight from the fridge and the halloumi was very nice but only three thin slices… not worth the extra $6.00 each…. Pretty disappointing. The service was good and generally the venue is reasonable. But cost vs value today… not great for anyone.

Steaks here are no good- the thickness of them make it near impossible to cook them any less than well done. Roast potatoes are stone cold. Even the waitress said she gets complaints so often about the potatoes. I feel this venue needs to think about their meat supplier and to deliver them portions of meat that can be cooked to MR or even rare. Apart from that service and staff are friendly . Not a bad joint if you’re just there for a cold drink
