After a leisurely walk from manly beach we made it to Shelly Beach ( about a mile) we stopped at the boathouse for lunch and an iced latte. I've always loved this restaurant. It is spacious and clean, the servers are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed fish and chips and iced latte. The fish was cooked perfectly tempura battered crispy flaky fish inside. Iced latte had an ice cream bomb. So good 😊 the atmosphere was upbeat, great music even better company. Definitely be back. If you are in this area. It is worth a stop, you won't be disappointed.

Came here for brunch and it was great. Beautiful greenery along the patio. It was quite busy, but we managed to get a table without waiting. We got mimosas. The poached eggs are topped with caviar, very delicious! Highly recommend. There were bush turkeys wandering around the patio looking for food that has fallen to the ground.

From the moment I stepped onto the sun-drenched deck, I was captivated by the breathtaking views of Shelly Beach and the glistening Sydney Harbour. The gentle sea breeze and the soothing sounds of the waves crashing against the shore created an ambiance of pure tranquility. The restaurant itself exudes a charming and relaxed atmosphere, with its rustic timber décor and open-air setting. The staff were friendly and welcoming, make you feel right at home. Their attentive service and genuine enthusiasm for their work added to the overall dining experience. The menu features plenty of good choices but we were left a little underwhelmed. I had the signature bacon and egg roll and the roll was just not fresh. The green bowl my wife ordered was also a bit average. And a water glass we received was filthy. Not a good look. So overall the food was a bit of a let down. The Boathouse Shelly Beach is a perfect destination, the quality of food needs to lift to match it.

First time coming to Shelly Beach and other than the water, the first thing you'll notice is the Boathouse. Really large venue for a cafe with some great options on the menu which are available via QR table ordering (this is how I placed the coffee order). Price is standard and the coffee was really good. Only thing is the time to receive coffee was a bit long but this is because it was extremely busy on a hot day and that is expected. I can easily recommend the Boathouse if you're ever in this area for good coffee next to the beach.

Great location could not be better..Try and book to get a good seat. Food was excellent not a huge variety but was fresh and tasty. Park at Manly for a nice walk along the foreshore. Definitely will be back next time I'm in the area
