The Hydro Majestic Hotel is a perfect blend of historic charm and modern elegance, offering stunning architecture and design that captivate at every turn. From the breathtaking views visible from nearly every window to the delicious food paired with panoramic mountain vistas, every aspect of our stay was a feast for the senses. The delightful background music further added to the enchanting ambience of the experience. The staff were incredibly warm and professional, with a special mention to Marcus, who gave us a fascinating tour of the building. His insightful commentary on the hotel’s history and its visionary founder, Mark Foy, added depth to our appreciation of this unique landmark. The well-maintained facilities and attention to detail ensured a seamless and memorable experience. The Hydro Majestic Hotel truly lives up to its name, offering a stay that is as majestic as its surroundings.

Have stayed here 3 times in last 3 years & it's getting better! Great history to the Hydro, you must explore it fully, So many rooms to find and who's stayed here. The breakfast is endless, salmon, savouries, eggs, complete big breakfast, cereal cold meats, yoghurt, fruit, nuts, berries, pancakes to make, coffee, tea, herbal tea, and the service is exceptional!. The views from the lounge/piano room are perfect for relaxing over breakfast or late night Port & cocktails. Back again in 4 months.

Our stay at the Hydro Majestic was immaculate. It was like walking into the great Gatsby movie. The furniture, the art, the ambiance was divine & the view… jaw dropping. We felt so welcomed & taken care of by the staff. Our 3 course dinner at winter garden was so decadent & breakfasts delicious. The room 311 had the most beautiful view & the bathroom had a huge spa bath which was thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend, what a stunning getaway. Sylvia

The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the incredible staff, with special recognition to Marcus, who ensured that our experience was nothing short of exceptional from start to finish. His dedication to delivering five-star service truly made our stay unforgettable. We were consistently impressed by his professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care, whether it was with the room, the restaurant, breakfast, or our activities. We even had greetings in french and tailored advice for our hikes. Mahesh also deserves a special mention for his warmth and constant availability. At every interaction, he went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, always with kindness and a smile. Our room was absolutely stunning, with an incredible view that made our stay even more magical. Our dining experiences, both at the restaurant and during breakfast, were not only memorable for the delicious food but also because of the attentive and caring staff who elevated every moment. While we are tempted to explore other hotels in the area, we know we’ll be returning to the Hydro Majestic—because the exceptional customer experience and the people who made it happen are what truly set it apart.

Amazing location with great view. Staff try their best and thoughtful all of the time even when a sizeable proportion of them are trainees. The room was a bit of a disappointment. Knew the building’s heritage so wasn’t expecting a brand spanking new room with all of the mod cons, but cleanliness could be better, particularly in some of the tighter corners.
