We came and went from this hotel to various places in Australia and New Zealand as well as a base for exploring Sydney and we had a fabulous experience. Just a lovely hotel in a nice quiet zone within easy walk to the centre. Excellent rooms, good service, lovely staff, the hotel smells divine and one of the best hotel cocktail bars we have found abroad. Loved it, thank you!

Fantastic location, beautiful suite and view - let down by the reception staff. Casey who was the concierge on when we arrived was incredibly dismissive and almost rude. My mother and sister had just arrived in Australia for the first time from the airport and I had hoped they would have a pleasant first experience but instead Casey was the opposite of welcoming. I have been to the Langham spa before and it always looked like a beautiful place to stay, and it is.. but perhaps the staff need to greet guests with a smile once in a while. I was disappointed and my mother was celebrating her birthday and so although everything in the room was absolutely lovely - amenities, complimentary fruit etc - the initial impression given by Casey was so distasteful it coloured the experience somewhat since we only stayed one night. Some other staff were quite accommodating allowing late checkout and the spa was wonderful but I believe the welcome upon check in could be a lot better! For the extortionate 5 star price tag attached it should come with equivalent customer service. One other positive was good communication via WhatsApp - quick response time and easy to access

This was our second stay at The Langham and it did not disappoint! Great location, large check-in/reception that is all on ground floor, smells amazing, beautiful pool/spa/gym, spacious and tastefully decorated rooms, friendly staff…the list goes on! Thanks for a great second stay, we will be back again next time we’re in Sydney!

Excellent stay. Harbour terrace room and the pool were highlights. Friendly staff and easily walkable to downtown and restaurants. Only recommendation is to greatly tone down the perfume in the public spaces, it is overpowering.

The Langham Sydney is absolutely the BEST hotel EVER! From the moment a guest arrives the staff makes you feel so welcomed! The decor is beautiful! The flowers in the foyer are stunning! The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, exquisite bed linens, lighting and so quiet! The bathrooms are wonderful with double sinks, shower, large tub, luxurious linens, and all the wonderful products... all these make a guest stay so pleasant! The entire staff is warm, friendly, professional, and accommodating! Shane, the general manager is top notch and very interactive with all his staff and guests!! The housekeeping staff amazing and wrote personal notes!! The breakfast was incredible with a daily gorgeous display of buffet items as well as omelette station. The waitstaff and culinary team also top notch! The fitness center, sauna , and beautiful pool and hot tub just so nice!! The Observatory bar was so elegant with amazing bartenders and waitstaff! The complimentary wine tasting such a treat and nice perk for a guest! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!
