We had an amazing experience at Sergeants Mess for our wedding in July. Brooke was incredible from the moment we met until the evening of our wedding. Abby was on hand the night of our wedding and she delivered service like I’ve never had before. All of our guests commented on the delicious food, outstanding staff and beautiful views. We couldn’t have asked for a better team and venue to begin our married life. I would highly recommend Sergeants Mess for your next event, it will be one to remember.

My (now) wife and I had a wonderful wedding experience with the team at Sergeants Mess. Planning was well documented and organised, and we had a key contact every step of the way who was responsive and clear on timelines and requirements to make everything a success. The tasting dinner that they offer is a great experience and really helps get everything organised menu-wise, though the food and wine is so good that it’s very hard to pick what to keep! On the day, everything went swimmingly. The amphitheatre outside is glorious and the view and vibe with everyone there is exceptional, especially when you have a string quartet playing on the bar balcony! The staff helping, particularly Abby the co-ordinator on the day, were all exceptional and went the extra mile to help. At one point there was a slight issue with the bride’s dress, and while the bridal party did their best to find a way to fix it, as soon as Abby found out she had the solution in minutes! The food was excellent, and the alcohol selection was very impressive, we were able to serve wines that we really connected with, and everything was well received by the crowd. We are very happy we selected Sergeants Mess for our special day, thanks team!

Take it from myself, a wedding photographer who has worked at this venue many times. Sergeants Mess is one of Sydney's best venues! The views which span 180 degrees looking out over the harbour will provide the perfect backdrop for your wedding and will no doubt be sure to leave a lasting impression on both you and your guests. There are also many incredible photo spots to be found around the venue or down at Chowder Bay (30 seconds down the Rd). The staff are also very accommodating at this venue. I would definitely recommend checking it out.

What a beautiful location with jaw dropping views of the water. I cannot thank Lily and Abby enough for the professionalism and hospitality throughout the planning process and the evening on our wedding. Lily was very easy to get in touch with and such a kind person who did not find any question to be a hassle. She was punctual in terms of getting back to us promptly as well as any meetings we had. Abby was also so lovely and organised on the day of our wedding. She made herself known to myself, my Husband as well as all parents and bridal party. She came to check in on us regularly and was very thorough and clear about the timeline of events. All the wait staff and bar staff were nothing but wonderful to everyone. I have asked my guests about their experience and there has been nothing but the highest of praise and compliments. The food (inc canapés) were delicious and cooked/prepared to such quality standard. The ceremony, reception, bar and entry area were set up to what we had imagined it to be which made the day stress free. We would recommend anyone who is getting married or holding a special event to check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

We held our Wedding reception at Sergeants Mess and it was the easiest decision we made! We immediately fell in love with the venue - the view is stunning, the location feels private, and while the dining room is spacious, it feels intimate and inviting. The planning process was seamless. Communication with Lily was excellent, she promptly answered all of our questions and catered to all of our needs. The food was phenomenal, all of our guests loved the food! On the day, our venue manager Brooke and bridal attendant made sure we were well looked after throughout the night. Thank you Sergeants Mess for making our Wedding so special!
