We stayed in a deluxe spa suite, and it was great. There is plenty of room and great views of the track. Convenient location to town also. The room and hotel in general could do with a bit of an update, thus not really making it feel like a 4 star hotel (and a bit pricey), but it was a good stay. The breakfast was good too. However, could use a few more options for the price paid for it.

The service was good, the location is excellent and the rooms are pretty good. The only real problems are the bad old TVs but they are getting furniture upgrades in the future. The lack of Foxtel is bad and the aerial reception is terrible. The beds are good but still there are sometimes weird stains on the mattress. The jet spa is really good but I cant really say the same for the shower as much corrosion can be seen on the heads. The food kinda is half done and some meals are bad. OVR 7.5/10

Terrible welcome. We were asked to check in 2 pm but room was not ready until 3:30pm. We were said they would call once room ready, not were asked sit down in lobby while waiting. Git suggestion to cancel booking if I am not happy at that time. Room cleaned to rush to was not detail, little bit duct here and there other roof was okey. Key was assigned to room, Offered complementary breakfast but restaurant was not Informed about complementary. It’s obvious room was not expensive but still it’s 4 start Hotel. Thank to those who tried help us.

Very disappointing as a Rydges member. Where do I start? First the room smelt AWFUL. Very musty, and a touch of sewerage or something under the floral… not sure if it had just been locked up for ages? We were tired so just decided to order room service as it was late. Rang the restaurant.. it rung out then went to voicemail. So rang reception, no one answered there either. Gave up and went down for dinner. Smell seemed to dissipate over the two days with the door open. The pillows were lumpy, cheap and awful. The second night he a cockroach was crawling up the wall. My partner caught it and flushed it down the toilet. Finally the pool and spa was closed but the prices certainly didn’t seem to reflect any ‘off season’ As you can imagine we won’t be back!

Dishwasher in room had old food in it from a while ago. Bed and pillows stink of a cleaning chemical. And of course let's not forget the obligatory fire alarm test on a Saturday evening at 9-10pm after spending nearly 2 hours trying to get little kids to sleep. That was so much fun. Who ever the warden was, slshe clearly didn't know what she was doing because she needed to remind us all that there was an alarm. The place is run down and not well maintained. There's cheaper places in town much better quality and better value for money. I won't stay here again. Ever.
