We had a large group booking of 16 people last night for a friend’s birthday party. The staff were really accomodating and their service went above and beyond for us. They also sang a birthday song which lightened the mood even more. We all ordered the classic banquet and the food was amazing. The cooks made sure the food was sent out in a timely manner and appropriate time so that the food was able to be enjoyed to it’s fullest. I’d recommend Salma and will be coming again in the future. Thank you to the Salma team for an amazing dinner.

OOOOOOOOOF!!!! Now this is what I call GOOD PRAWN, Salma is doing these crustaceans so much justice with the creamy garlic prawn dish. Not only does the saffron rice it comes with stand on its own, the prawns and sauce are DELIGHTFUL. I’m not even that big a fan of prawns but thought I’d do it because it was a steal ( 21$) and boy am I pleased. Service was fast and food is flavorful and fresh, big compliments to the chef :)).

We had the best time celebrating my friend’s birthday. We were attended by the lovely Shin who was very attentive, friendly and accommodating with our group. They helped me organise a dessert with a candle and made it a proper middle eastern show with music and a special hat. The food was succulent, fragrant and delicious - just heaven in the mouth! As an Arab, I can easily notice the subtle details and differences between various Arab restaurants. Among the places I’ve visited so far during my first year in Sydney, I can say I really like this restaurant — the food, the atmosphere, and the staff are all wonderful. The place has a warm, cozy feel and a beautifully authentic Arabic style.
