Had my sons 21st in the venue rooms. It was a perfect night. All the staff allowed to set-up prior to the event, and the staff were very professional and helpful on the night. The food was absolutely brilliant and many of our family friends also commented how good the food and venue was. Thank you !!

Enjoyed my first visit to the Union. It's an upmarket pub, with function areas. There were loads of separate areas, which I really liked, including rooftop. Food was good, the service was friendly tho they were abit short staffed. Recommended overall. I liked moving round to new spots but tried to avoid the screens. V cool.

Place is really good to come but the way they price their food specifically the sides with the steaks are crazy. Eye fillet 200g costs $39 and it comes completely by itself. To get anything with it its $5 PER SIDE. The way they price their steaks and sides are literally the only downside to this place

We had my daughter’s 3rd birthday party set up in the park but was cancelled due to heavy rain. We asked Ashley and Chris (bar staff) on short notice if they could help us out with a space to host the 50+ people who were coming. Literally an hour before the party started. Not only did they accommodate us, they made sure that we were well attended to. From opening the bar for us upstairs (for all the parents) to the clean up and perfect set up stairs. Had no idea the upstairs area was so well set up. Everyone at the party had an amazing time. Food was fantastic and can’t say enough how happy we were with the service. Recommend for any parents looking for a location for kids birthday, or any birthday for that matter. Thanks union hotel. Love ya work and will definitely return
