We recently organized a work conference at the Oaks Resort, Cypress Lakes in the Hunter Valley, and it was an outstanding experience. From start to finish, everything went perfectly. The staff were incredibly accommodating, and the food was fantastic throughout the event. The conference rooms were beautifully presented, laid out efficiently, and equipped with top-notch AV facilities that made our presentations run smoothly. Our team stayed in the Villas, which were well-appointed, clean, and very comfortable—everyone loved them. The next day, we held a golf day facilitated by the resort's pro shop, and they were exceptional in ensuring everything was ready for us. The golf course itself was stunning and enjoyable for players of all levels. Even beginners had a great time, and while you might lose a few balls if you’re new to the game, it’s all part of the fun. I have been invited to a charity conference coming up in December, and I’m certain it will be another amazing experience. Highly recommend the Oaks Resort for any event or getaway!

Been here many times now for lunch. Service has definitely dropped. Food has also declined. Chewy steak. Maybe 10 chips in a plate of you are lucky. They never used to play music. Now it is played loud and you don't get to enjoy the beautiful serenity of the peace and quite. Won't be back any time soon.

The ultimate resort for relaxation. In my villa, up the back of the hill, you could hear a pin drop. Serenity at its very best. Such a beautiful place to stay. I love it ❤️ All the staff are very welcoming.

Room definitely didn’t live up to our expectations and looked nothing like the pictures on the internet. Everything looks a little worn and dated. Our room had a non functioning oven with a sign attached saying ‘for display purposes only’. Little to no internet. Cheap quality rooms. Could clearly hear the guest upstairs coughing all day and night. Had no carry our luggage up several sets of outside stairs with no easy access. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place for older people or those with disabilities. Facilities ok but nothing like any ‘spa and relaxation’ retreat we’ve stayed at. All in all a very dull and boring place to stay. Definitely won’t be back.

I recently stayed at Cypress Lakes Resort with my girlfriends, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. When I went to reception to request tea and coffee for our room, I was informed that, because we had booked through Booking.com, we were not entitled to these amenities. Even after offering to pay, the request was denied, which was frustrating and unexpected. Additionally, the room lacked clear instructions on how to order food or beverages, and we encountered a non-functioning dishwasher. Communication from the staff was largely unhelpful, and at times, quite rude, with no satisfactory explanations provided. One staff member at the bar showed some empathy, but overall, we felt overlooked. Despite eventually paying for the tea and coffee, the process was unnecessarily difficult. We had also booked and paid for a room for five adults, but found the amenities lacking, and our rooms were not refreshed during the day, which further added to our disappointment
