This is by far the worst four-star hotel I have ever stayed in. The hygiene was worse than some motels. We had requested a baby cot in advance, but upon arrival, we found that the room was not accessible by car — we had to carry heavy luggage up the stairs to reach it. When we entered the room, the kitchen counter was covered in dust and dirt. The baby cot we requested wasn’t set up in the room, but instead was left carelessly at the door. What was even more unacceptable was that the bedsheet for the baby was extremely dirty (as shown in the photo), making it completely unusable. The electric kettle was also so filthy that we didn’t even want to touch it. I originally booked one-bedroom valley view suite and two-bedroom valley view suite, these two rooms looks in pretty new condition. The next day, hotel staff called to say that one of the rooms did not allow children, and said they would change it to a one-bedroom that allowed kids, located as close as possible to the two-bedroom, and that the baby cot would be set up in the room. However, they changed our booking without clear communication and ended up giving us another two-bedroom suite far away from the original room, and the rooms are old and poorly maintained. What’s even worse, the pillow had a strong unpleasant odor and the filling was broken into two pieces…I was told that both rooms were the same price, but the difference in quality is significant and unacceptable. This has seriously affected my stay, our family was forced to stay separately, which completely defeated the purpose of our booking. From the poor service to the unacceptable cleanliness, this was an extremely disappointing stay. I will never come back to this hotel and absolutely do not recommend it to anyone.

As a Titanium member, I had higher expectations for my stay at Oaks Cypress Hotel, especially considering the amount I paid for the room. Unfortunately, my experience was a mix of positives and disappointments. On the positive side, the staff was outstanding, always friendly and eager to help. The shuttle service was great, making transportation around the property very convenient. Breakfast was decent, and the golf course was absolutely beautiful. However, the room was extremely outdated, with old and damaged appliances that didn’t match the price or my loyalty status expectations. Additionally, the pool was in poor condition, clearly unmaintained and not inviting at all. While the service and location have great potential, the hotel desperately needs renovations to justify the price. Until then, I’m not sure it offers the value expected for what it charges.

The hotel is located in a great location and breathtaking view. Very friendly staff and nice pool view with golf course. The wild life and kangaroos around was pleasant to watch. But unfortunately our villa was not clean. There were cockroaches in the kitchen and when we mentioned it to reception, they just wiped the kitchen surfaces. That’s not going to help. The bed was really uncomfortable, we didn’t have good night sleep. The jacuzzi wasn’t working properly. It was a good value for money however considering how unclean and uncomfy it was, we won’t go back.

Nothing to fault when it came to customer service and bistro. Good food and amazing breakfast buffet which was a highlight. Friendly and prompt staff. They have a shuttle to take you to and from reception to your villa and we were able to check in early which really made our day. However the 2 bedroom villa we stayed in was old, the lights in the rooms didn't work (was fixed while we were away on a wine tour same day), the tea and coffee were shoved in a plastic container, there were holes in the wall that had been plugged with tissues, the verandah was falling apart with the bits of wood just laying there, bbq was unusable, dirty old broken umbrella sitting in the corner, couch not big enough for 4 people (2 bedrooms), tiny old oddly placed TV's, dirt and dead and alive insects in the light fixtures. And we all woke up at about 6am to the strongest stench of sewerage. None of us had used the bathroom yet so not sure where the smell came from but it stuck around till after we returned from breakfast till we left to check.out, stronger than ever. Overrall, I'd probably return for a feed but not to stay.

Very disappointed, we spent two nights here in their premier Villa, nothing premier about it. On arrival the bathroom door handles were found on the floor, the cupboard doors were off their tracks, the balcony doors don't lock which was a concern with my clubs and my partner's jewellery in there, toilet roll that was half used and just had it's corners folded, we didn't have a sign for us to inform them to make up our room either and were uninformed for us to do that in the first place. Additionally the place advertised as having a king bed was just two single beds next to each other. After informing the staff about the bathroom and cupboard doors as well as the balcony lock issues they said they would fix it for us the FOLLOWING day which didn't even end up happening. The golf course was incredible. I highly recommend playing at the course but you are better off staying at a local motel as it's the equivalent service.
