I would not return. The photos of the room did not match the actual room. The floor was rickety near the bed. There is no fridge. They do not provide water but there is a tea service station on the floor. The dining experience was very ordinary - most of the drinks we wanted were not available and we were charged for a 2017 wine when the wine was actually a 2022 wine. The waitress was very friendly but did not know anything about the drinks - the cocktails tasted watered down. The drinks person was not available on the weeknight we stayed. The menu was limited and the food was likely reheated. The breakfast food and service was good. The staff generally did not seem to know much about the Hotel - had to keep referring to the person in the room next to reception. I feel they want weddings to make money but don't really want couples during the weekdays. No value for money here in my opinion.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Robertson Hotel! Beautiful location, lovely bar and restaurant areas and incredible food. The food, cocktails and service was much higher quality than we expected. We stayed mid-week so the place was fairly quiet and we did get the cheapest room which didn’t have the greatest ventilation, but we got to enjoy the grounds and the pool all to ourselves. Would recommend a stay here!

Popped in over the weekend for high tea. The team member was lovely. The high tea was pretty disappointing, tho. One sandwich, which only had rocket, tomato, and cucumber on it. I've never been to a high tea that doesn't offer a selection of sandwiches. And the one they did offer tasted like it was made with day old bread? Scones seemed to be the pre made frozen ones. The jam was nice. I doubt we'd return.

Staying at The Robertson Hotel was like stepping back in time, in the best possible way. This beautiful vintage hotel is a hidden gem, filled with old-world charm and character. The crackling wood fireplaces and beautifully curated antique furniture create a warm, nostalgic atmosphere. Every corner is thoughtfully adorned with stunning flower vases, adding a fresh, vibrant touch to the classic decor. The rooms are cozy yet sophisticated, and the food is delicious, perfectly complementing the hotel’s timeless appeal. It’s a truly memorable escape where history and comfort meet.

A beautiful hotel which unfortunately has fallen into a bit of a state of disrepair. It is lovely to see such a beautiful old building in a serene location but from stained marble to cobwebs in the window there are things to be desired in how it is being kept. We had the high tea which was fairly small and while only I am gluten free, the entire tea was gluten free which is not ideal considering the gluten free options weren’t the best.
