Great spot, very nice ambience and great service! Food was ok, nice pub style menus. Loved the view though, definitely worth the visit! Staff were super friendly and quite attentive. Layout of the venue is quite interesting, the leather comfy lounges and the VIP section is super nice! The upstairs is a bit windy and cold although it looks enclosed.

We had breakfast at Mermaids cafe. It was my second time here for breakfast. The Eggs Benedict is so delicious so I had to come back. The view is always beautiful, whatever the weather, the service is good. I highly recommend popping here.

Its a good place as per location, but the food is average. Steak lovers, this place is not recommended for you.. Service is good and quick, lots of area and different seating available for hugh group and private party.

Rating restaurant pub, not the accommodation. Food was great, really enjoyed most meals. Fish and chips, seafood basket all good. Crab pasta was awesome just huge! Steak was just ok, there are other places that had better steak in Nelson bay. Location is sublime, was lucky enough to sit near the window or balcony in the 3 times we came here over our holiday, you can't beat it!

Nice vibe there. In terms of food, the pizzas and the potatoes were good but the Vietnamese chicken salad was bland, schnitzel was so thick and dry, and the steaks were terrible. Lacked any seasoning, it was cooked well done so we sent it back and asked them to make it medium rare, but it came back unrested and rare. It was for my son and he was hungry so I just fed him the edges of the steak and left the centre of the steak. We couldn’t be bothered saying something again. Unfortunately, it wasn’t good experience for us and we wont be returning there.
