I celebrated my son’s birthday here today with a small group of friends. From the minute I walked in, the staff were so approachable and welcoming. It was a very windy day and we couldn’t light the candles, the staff closed all the windows for us so that we could cut my son’s cake! The food was delicious! The prawn pasta is a must try!

Oh my. We spent 5 days in Nelson Bay and ate here … 5 times. Everything we had was great and the service, an absolute delight. Special mention about “Jade” who went above and beyond more than once. So lovely. Also - the scotch fillet. I had that cooked to perfection (med rare) and it was one of the top 3 steaks I’ve ever had in my long life, and I travel a lot.

Grant and Bree and all Staff here are beyond amazing. They bend backwards to make sure all patrons are satisfied. food here is next level amazing. Cannot fault this place at all been coming nelson bay 34 years and this is the best venue here by far!!!!

Fantastic service and food. We’ve come here several times this year and each time we’ve loved it. The pizza at SBCC was great, and the drinks were delicious. Awesome for a hot summery day.

I had dinner here last Wednesday with family, while visiting the area on holidays. - I ordered the seafood basket for two, and didn’t quite finish my meal. The batter on the fish was too oily, and the crumb on the other seafood had a powder/egg flavour as opposed to a nice seafood flavour. Chips and salad was nice. My sister and her partner offered me some of their entree bread but it was so incredibly oily that it became soggy, and they could not finish it. I had some of their bbq ribs though, which were tasty. - Service staff were fine. - Great location, and the overall decor was a nice Mediterranean beachy feel.
