I thought I'd wandered into the recreation yard at Silverwater prison next door. Then I realised I was at cricket central. I'm not 100% sure I wasn't right the first time! Poor location, lack of transport options, lack of facilities for fans. Couldn't be much worse if you tried!

An amazing new cricket facility operated by Cricket NSW, located at Wilson Park. There’s a cafe on ground level near the main entry. There are about two dozen cricket nets for practicing. You’ll find an elite-standard cricket oval next to the cafe. Parking for about 40+ vehicles is located alongside the facility - we noticed that some people also park across the road at Silverwater Road, and then walk under the traffic bridge to Cricket Central. The popular Parramatta Valley Cycleway passes the northern edge of this facility. You’ll find an excellent club across Silverwater Road - it serves food and beverages - and has a relaxing atmosphere.
