The location is amazing in amongst the best that Leura has to offer. The hotel accommodation itself, however, is showing its age after being refurbished over 10 years ago. That said we enjoyed the pool, the gym and a wonderful walk around the hotel in the evening after the sun had set. Whilst we didn't do the other activities available it was clear they were a bonus. The kids sections including games room was the best we had seen. Our experience with staff was pleasant and check in / check out was no trouble. Definitely a family hotel vs a couple get away. Some aspects of nostalgia are pretty cool such as a model train set for kids to view

Good customer service from the staff, especially the reception and concierge. Lots of enjoyable amenities including indoor and outdoor pools, tennis court and gym. The gym was well equipped however was somewhat dusty and dirty and in need of a good clean. The tennis court was good, however the tennis balls and racquets provided were in need of replacement. The rooms were reasonably comfortable however looked very old and in need of a refurbishment. In particular, the carpets looked very old and in need of replacement. The bathroom was somewhat small and the shower was in the bath tub, this resulted in water on the bathroom floor whenever the shower was used. The bathroom was also in need of a deeper clean, with mold visible in corners and under the rims of the sink. The buffet breakfast was good, however the lunch and dinner menus lacked variety so we ended up having lunch and dinner at outside restaurants.

We stayed at a beautiful hotel in a magical area. Upon arrival, we were greeted with Christmas carols and lights adorning a bridge leading to the hotel entrance. As we entered the lobby, we were captivated by a magnificent Christmas tree and stunning decorations. Our room was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate three adults. The hotel offers a wide range of leisure activities. We opted for the walking tracks in the forest, which start near the pony stables. These tracks lead in various directions, allowing walkers to lose themselves in the beauty of the surroundings.

Had 4 rooms over Xmas for the family and the hotel is nice and very child friendly. Food options were disappointing, dinner in the main restaurant had a very limited menu and wasn't what we would expect in terms of choice or quality for fairmont. Only the pizzas were good even tho the restaurant was closed and pizzas not available in room service, you could still order pizzas if aware. The child festival over Xmas period looked good but nothing was open or on over Xmas and boxing day, appreciate its public holidays although wouldn't have been much to open the rainbow slide at a minimum. Overall, the stay was good cos we had the family together. Not sure we will do it again or return at this point.

A great family-friendly resort. We had a great time with our 6 year old. There was so much for him to do - slides, pool, games, movies, activities... We didn't stop the whole time. the food at the cafe there was also surprisingly good! Best Caesar salad I've had in a long time! The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. They found us different pillows when we asked, served us a plate of delicious veggies when we felt like something a little healthier (even though it wasn't on the menu). I'd highly recommend this place for anyone with kids.
