It was my German husband’s birthday and it was the perfect place to feel like you were at home away from home. Jane was our German speaking host and her customer services, kindness and overall service was exceptional, she even arranged for a birthday strudel and sang “Happy Birthday”. Her service definitely and attentiveness definitely added to our wonderful experience at Munich Brauhaus. The food was authentic and excellent as was the overall ambience of the restaurant, definitely felt like we were back in Germany.

Went here for my husbands birthday as he loves German food. I wish it were better. Atmosphere: There are tables outside and tables inside where there is air conditioning. The inside is dimly lit, has a very musky smell and there are stairs right near the entrance, so be careful when entering the restaurant. As a person with poor vision had my husband not been with me, I probably would have fallen face first. Food: We ordered two different types of schnitzels the paprika schnitzel (pork) and the Jaeger schnitzel (chicken). We also ordered drinks, spaetzle and a pretzel with a side of cheese. The pretzel was delicious, it was crusty on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. The cheese sauce was not for me. It was cold and oniony. It was a German type of cheese sauce, that apparently is meant to be served like this according to my husband who is of German heritage. The drinks were also good. We tried a Coke and Fanta drink combination. It was surprisingly quite pleasant. I didn't think this would work, but it did. Now for the main, the paprika schnitzel was cold in some parts, hot in other parts, tough in some parts and soft in other parts. It really wasn't good. My husband ate about half of it before calling quits. The German potato salad was good, perhaps a little heavy on the mustard and as for the side of spaetzle it was delicious. The jager schnitzel was undercooked, underwhelming and the breading was soggy. I cut into the side of the schnitzel and tasted it and it was not tender, but quite tough and soggy. I then cut into the middle and low and behold the chicken was raw. I asked my husband to call over the manager and I explained to him what was wrong with my meal. First let me say - the manager very approachable and wanted to correct the error. The only aspect that frustrated me with our interaction was him telling me it was perfectly safe to eat. The main reason I called him over was to inform him that my food was undercooked. I did not want him to tell me if it was safe to eat or not. I cook chicken schnitzel all the time, I also eat it all the time. Chicken schnitzel is meant to have a beautiful white or off white centre. In no way should it have any pink or in my case a lot of pink. It also should not have a soggy crumb, nor should it be tough to cut into. Perhaps due to the lighting he wasn't able to correctly see the schnitzel. I don't know, but I am giving him the benefit of the doubt due to his professionalism. He then asked if I wanted something to snack on until my husband finished his food as I did not want to wait for another main meal. I opted for a small serving of potato salad. Again, the potato salad was quite delicious. If my chicken was cooked well, and the manager had acknowledged that it was in fact undercooked, my rating would have been higher. Would I return and recommend? Honestly I probably wouldn't. The fact I enjoyed the sides more than the main meal is never a good thing. On another note - I can understand what the other commenters were talking about in regards to the silverware they are worn out and should be changed. I have attached some photos of the schnitzel for your reference.

Visited Munich Brauhaus and had an amazing experience! The atmosphere feels like you're right in Oktoberfest, live band was amazing and the games were fun. The Pancake Kaiserschmarrn was a hit – fluffy and sweet, just how I like it. But what really stood out was the service, especially Elaine. She's super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Loved the beer towers and Elaine let me try some of the different beers so my family and I could make our decision. Munich Brauhaus isn't just a restaurant, it's an experience. If you're looking for authentic German food, great service, and a cozy atmosphere, this is the spot to be!

Amazing experience and will definitely be back! The delicious food, the games and band really give it that German Biergarten atmosphere. Camilla was our server for the night and she was not only professional and friendly, but patient too! We had a birthday celebration and they were happy to accommodate our requests, to make our night special. Thanks and see you again soon Munich Brauhas!

Visited here for many times. The pork knuckle has always been my favorite dish, crispy and succulent. The best dish to go with German beer.
