We celebrated my partners 50th birthday here. The food was very good and the servers were great. The only negative was that I reserved a table inside and a table outside was reserved. This resolved as an inside table became available.

My partner and I first dined here back in 2019, being of German heritage ourselves the atmosphere immediately made us feel at home and every time we’ve visited since, we still feel the same. The food is always so authentic and delicious and the drinks are brilliant. We love making the drive up from Wollongong to have a great lunch/dinner up at the Brauhaus.

Close to our hotel. A little confusion with being served as we thought they were brining menus but never showed up so we used the QR code. All customers after us got seated with menus. Strange. Lunch food was good. Pretzel and beer was our favourite. The chips serving was large.

Service good from one staff lady, she is friendly smile, very nice service. Foods also nice, just the crispy pork knuckle the meat inside it is very dry. Overall it is good. 👍

Restaurants in popular areas can often turn into tourist traps where they want to shake you down. This is NOT one if those places, proven by how popular the place is among locals, as well as the tourists. Okay, it's not super cheap but prices are reasonable for the area (The Rocks) and the food and the drinks are great and authentically represent what the name of the establishment promises. None of that wimpy middy and schooner stuff for beer (that's where sizes start in NSW) but it goes from 500ml up. The 1l is very popular but you can go higher. The staff members are very friendly and accommodating to any reasonable requests. They are very hard working but still find their smiles! 😄 It can get quite noisy and overrun by tourists at peak hours, so if that's not your thing, just go there during the quieter times which I tend to do myself. That also makes it easier to get in without a booking. If you go during busy hours, it's better to book in advance. All in all, a pleasurable experience, although don't expect to lose weight after a visit!!
