As we wait in lobby for suite that staff knew we were waiting for at 10 this morning but did not expedite after previous guest left, it adds to the overall feel of inefficiency. Dinner at 5:20 last evening took nearly 2 hours, even though only one other table was seated when we arrived. Several times servers stopped by to offer food and drinks that were ordered by other tables. This morning we were seated for breakfast, offered no menus or options and left to figure out on our own. The luggage handlers are amazing, always stepping forward to assist guests. Although the lobby is very nice, I would only rebook if there were no other options.

This is one of our favourite city hotels when visiting Sydney. The rooms are very well appointed with large comfortable beds. We like to walk in the mornings and the harbour is at the hotel doorstep with great walking opportunities in any direction. Public transport is a 10 minute walk to Circular Quay, but the views on the way make up for this.

My husband and I just had our wedding at Pier One. It was absolutely perfect and such a beautiful wedding. The location of the bridge marquee was stunning and it's the perfect venue for a wedding. The staff were helpful and lovely and the wedding coordinator, Alejandra was so attentive and accommodated us down to every detail and request. I highly recommend this venue and Alejandra for a dream wedding come true.
