I just tried the Celebration Feast menu, and it was incredible! Each dish offered a unique flavor that’s unforgettable. This restaurant is always busy, so be sure to make a reservation or take a chance with a walk-in, I'm sure the staff will do their best to accommodate you. I’ll definitely be coming back. The atmosphere is fantastic, the food is amazing, and the staff is not only friendly but also knowledgeable. Kudos to Chin Chin!

Modern fusion food between Thailand and Western. The taste I don’t get used to it, but it was a good try. The food quality doesn’t equivalent with the price tho. Pretty pricey for these dishes. The atmosphere is pretty much for the youth since the music is pretty loud at the background. The space is spacious, you can even hold a party in the basement. There are vegetarian options, and you can also request for vegetarian or any diet allergies. Service is great, the waitresses are very competent

The food was really very average, especially for the price. We started with prawn toast special which was nice but actually over fried/cooked as you might be able to tell from the photo. The flavour of burnt bread overpowered the dish. The calamari entree ($32.50) was fine, but really nothing special. It was cooked well enough. The nahm jim sauce didn’t add much to the dish unfortunately. For mains we selected the beef massaman. Again, really quite average. Beef was tough, potatoes and walnuts few and far between, flavours were nice. Pretty much any Thai place will make a version that is nicer, and as a $39.50 dish you would expect that not to be the case. The stir fry egg noodle dish, $41.50, was overly “fishy” in flavour. Now I know what you’re saying “it’s a prawn dish, of course it will taste like seafood”. I understand, but for our tastes it was overly fishy and wasn’t pleasant, we only ate around a third of this dish. We also got a side of stir fried green beans to share. $19.50. These were nice, nothing amazing. Overall 3/5 given the expense. I don’t understand why it was so busy, but maybe it used to be much better or we had a weird night out.

I recommend you to get there early as the diner packed promptly. I had chilli salt chicken wings, stir-fried prawn egg noodles, wings were crispy while the sauce of the noodles was just right up my alley. The price range was higher than most diners though.

The food is meant to be Asian fusion, but I find the flavors to be too heavy handed. A basic dish like morning glory should be simple to cook, but the amount of white pepper was too much. The curry beef dish was a bit sour, just not quite on point. I tried the The Classic set menu. The portions are generous, enough for two people. The appetizers like the corn fritter and the pork taco were decent. The main dishes were so-so. The dish with the beef and fish had too much fish sauce. The server seemed to be slightly pushy in terms of selling me drinks, asking me probably three times. Also, he definitely pushed me to get the set menu, instead of single dishes. I told him multiple times - no spicy. The dishes were quite spicy still. I returned one of them. The atmosphere is like a loud bar. I guess the exposed walls were intentional, but it’s exactly as they are - old concrete walls. Otherwise, it is a busy and vibrant place. This is a restaurant for Australians. I don’t see too many Asians coming here because the tastes are not authentic by any means. It was ok. The total came out to be $89. For the same amount of money, I would go somewhere else. It was a disappointment.
