$20 rump steaks on a Wednesday night. How on earth can you go wrong for that? You can't. It was school holidays, and the after work crowd had mostly left by the time we got there at 6:30pm. Plenty of seats inside or out. Lots of beers on tap and a passable wine list.

We had our engagement party at the Greenwood late August 2024 in ‘The Chapel’ - we had the most amazing experience from the planning to the night. Mel helped us with every question and concern and the staff at the venue on the night were also amazing. It was a seamless process choosing our canapés and bar tab, which on the night the food was amazing and a lot bigger than we anticipated. The staff were super helpful on the night helping us with cocktails for photos, helped us set up of the venue, as well as did all of the clean up the day after. It was also amazing that after 4:30pm the parking underneath the venue can be validated, which was perfect for our 110 guests. We had the most amazing night at the Greenwood and can’t fault the team on anything for our event!! Thank you so much ❤️😍

We attended Greenwood Hotel for a music event over the public holiday and sadly left feeling disappointed. There is SO much potential as a venue - good security, toilet set up, two stages, seating and multiple bars open! Sadly the sound system at the main outdoor stage left a lot to be desired. Unless you were stood at the very front, all you could hear was the bass and people talking everywhere else. This meant a lot of people crammed into the indoor stage where there was no aircon and the crowd was blended into people trying to get drinks from the bar in there. Would definitely return if the sound system improves!

I’ve been here a couple of times for music events and the sound is dreadful unless you are right up the front. Seriously the sound is better on the street. The lighting also leaves much to be desired. As much as I like the Greenwood as a venue for drinks and lunch it is doubtful I shall return for a large music event.
