We honestly cannot recommend Dockside Group highly enough. From our very first viewing through to the end of our wedding night, the entire experience was exceptional. We held our ceremony in the Gold Room and our reception in the Darling Room, and everything was absolutely perfect. A huge thank you to Marie, our Event Coordinator, who supported us throughout the entire planning process. She was incredibly responsive, organised, and patient, and her attention to detail made everything so much smoother and far less stressful. We would also like to thank Carol, who helped us in the early stages with choosing the right spaces and walking us through the packages and options. Her guidance and professionalism were greatly appreciated. On the day itself, the entire team was outstanding. A big thank you to Swostik and Anju, who took such wonderful care of us and our guests. They were attentive, professional, and always made sure everything ran seamlessly so we could fully enjoy our day. The venue itself is stunning, with breathtaking views over Darling Harbour. We were also lucky enough to have the Vivid lights as a backdrop, which made the evening feel even more magical and unforgettable. Thank you to the entire Dockside team for helping create memories we will cherish forever. Dockside group is a great place for exotic celebration with large groups. The actual place is relatively difficult to find since its within the actual cockle bay wharf. The venues itself are very luxury and high class. The balcony view of the harbour is very nice especially towards late nights. Staff are all highly professional. Security always has safety as their best interest even if they may ruin sum fun. The DJ is real talented and is also pretty friendly. Food is great n there's many options. Overall absolutely nothin to complain abt 🙌

Her professionalism and gracious manner were instrumental in our decision to choose Dockside, alongside the breathtaking waterfront setting. Lenita then entrusted us to the skilled and personable care of Carol, whose poise, meticulous organisation and genuine warmth made the planning process effortless. She coordinated every detail behind the scenes from the ceremony to the reception and all the run sheets with precision and unwavering dedication. It was truly a pleasure working with Carol, in the months leading up to our big day. On the day itself, our event manager Anju was the embodiment of composure and expertise. A natural problem solver with exceptional management skills, she handled every detail with elegance and efficiency. She felt less like a coordinator and more like a trusted family member, ensuring that even the smallest hiccup was addressed with foresight and grace. We are incredibly thankful for Anju’s seamless coordination of the entire wedding and her amazing management of all suppliers, which truly made the day stress-free and flawless. We couldn't be happier that we chose L'Aqua, one of the Dockside Group's beautiful reception venues, for our wedding. From the moment we saw the breathtaking views from the room and balcony, we knew the stunning city skyline would create the perfect atmosphere for our special day. The package we selected included so many valuable inclusions and bonus extras, making it an easy decision to choose Dockside Group. Our wedding coordinator, Carol, was incredible from start to finish. She had such a positive, can-do attitude, and no request ever seemed too difficult. We were always met with a solution, and she went above and beyond to make the planning process as smooth and stress-free as possible. Whether she was liaising with our vendors, offering honest advice, or simply providing reassurance, Carol was always responsive, supportive, and genuinely invested in bringing our vision to life. We also had a unique room layout compared to most weddings held at L'Aqua, with both a stage and dance floor that required a different orientation. Carol carefully designed the floor plan so that everything fit perfectly without feeling crowded. The room felt warm, intimate, and allowed all of our guests to feel connected throughout the evening. A huge thank you also goes to the Chef and the kitchen team. They were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to customise our main courses by swapping accompaniments from other dishes. During our final site visit, we also requested a different entrée that wasn't part of the standard menu, and we were so grateful that the Chef was able to make it happen. Every course—from the canapés through to dessert—not only looked beautiful but tasted delicious! On the night, Ashmita was our event coordinator, and she was outstanding. She made sure everything ran seamlessly and constantly checked in to see if we needed anything. Between Ashmita and our MC, we were able to relax and fully enjoy every moment of our wedding without worrying about a thing. The wait staff were also attentive, friendly, and highly professional throughout the evening. We truly couldn't have asked for a better team to help plan and deliver our dream wedding. We recommend L'Aqua to anyone looking for an beautiful wedding venue with amazing service. It will always hold a very special place in our hearts, and we'll cherish the memories of our day there forever.
