I hosted my 40th at SILY with 45 guests and it was perfect. The venue size was amazing, atmosphere fabulous and food and drinks were great. If you reserve the whole bar, you have the flexibility to organise your own DJ and the laneway bar feel is great for a private party. Everyone had a great time and was very impressed with the space. Highly recommend.

A charming venue with excellent service! Was lucky enough to nestle into a prime seat to watch The Robbie Mann Trio and enjoy chilled drinks with a hot jazz beat on a cool Spring eve. Luckily came in a night where there was live music, which felt like the sole redeeming factor here. Staff look like they don't want to be here, which in turn made me also not want to be here. A waitress sat us down and just threw us a menu and went away, without communicating clearly that we had to order at the bar. We'd tried to ask for something once our drinks arrived, and they said they'd bring it, only to forget it later. Cocktails were pretty disappointing too. If you treat it like a dive on a Friday, it'll be alright, but if you want craft cocktails like the rest of the YCK Laneways, you'd best look elsewhere.
