We booked a superior room, but unfortunately, there was nothing "superior" about it. The room felt sparse and lacked any warmth, with bare walls and no artwork to liven it up. Our view? The car park—hardly what you’d expect for a supposed upgrade. To top it off, they charge for parking, which adds to the frustration. The internet was another letdown—unstable and practically useless, making it impossible to stay connected. As for the furniture, the lounge chairs were only 270mm from the floor, which was incredibly uncomfortable. I have no idea what they were thinking when they chose these for a hotel room! There wasn’t even a phone in the room, so contacting reception was out of the question, and no room service was available either. All in all, this hotel falls well below expectations, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.

Staying there from 1 - 10Nov 2024, two double rooms ( 227 - 228 ) with water view. My advise, book rooms away from swimming pool ( too noisy when family, kids around ), besides pool open at 7am and people using it at 7am...don't care the time and talk LOUD not respecting resting time of guests. It should be open from 8am. Location is excelent, just accross from main shopping center, Panthers Club, McDonald's, Zambrero and other small restaurants nearby, walking distance to Westport Club and main city center. Rooms is in desperate need of full clean up, carpet / sofas stained ( guests eating ), a steam clean will do the job. Underneath sofa's cushions a good collection of breadcrumps, dirt, small rubbish, it's obvious house keeping personal don't lift cushions to clean under. Lunch hour at restaurant not well attendended, ( 9th Nov ) when we were there a young lady ( wearing all black ) was walking up, down from the bar to kitchen but never looking to our table ( only two tables occupied ), after a while of waiting I did get up and ask at the bar who was the person taking the meals request. Small points to take into consideration, cleaning rooms properly is a must. BTW, parking in the premises cost $15, it's a paid carpark. We were there for 10 days, two rooms, parking fee was waived for us.

Great location and nice facilities on site. However, the rooms are tired and in need of an update. Service was good, we were initially given a room on ground floor and were able to be moved to a room on the first floor easily. This was much appreciated so we could enjoy the balcony and view over the marina.

One of the nicest hotel in Australia, I must say. This place provides the vibe of a hotel by name and place. I mean some place called itself Hotel but once you were there, it's just a motel. Room is clean and spacious. Staff at the reception and bar are friendly and welcoming. Garden view room provides a nice view where you can see the water as well as beautiful garden. Sails Port Mac is a place to remember and return...

I had a beautiful stay on the Kings holiday long weekend. The property was well maintained and up to date, above Australian standards in my opinion. It was well refurbished and lived up to its name as a resort. The pool was heated and there was also a jacuzzi available. Kayaks are available for free and you can paddle in the marina and go close to the mangroves. Breakfast at the boathouse could be better but still good. The only thing I disliked was the parking which cost $10 per day, which I guess makes easy business. You need to scan the qr code to pay for parking, don't get stuck at the gantry!
