I enjoyed the convenience of the location. My only real question is on the set up of the bathroom/toilet. I'm not convinced how you would feel using the loo here very early on in a relationship. I know sharing is caring, but there are some things you probably don't need your partner hearing 😆💩. Other than that...it was very nice.

Very overpriced for the value. Not sure how it qualifies as a 5 star hotel. The location was very convenient for the theater but there are no benefits to using the local restaurants or facilities. The curtin in my room was broken and I woke up to sun beaming in my face. Also advised the hotel we were travelling for a birthday and didn’t receive a card or anything. Staff aren’t around to chat just check you in and into the next.

Experience the best of Sydney at The Star! This luxurious complex offers a vibrant casino, top-notch dining, and stylish bars. Enjoy stunning harbor views, live entertainment, and exceptional service. From fine dining to rooftop cocktails, The Star has it all. A must-visit destination for a night out or a luxurious getaway.

They’ve got this ridiculous rule where you can’t do a damn thing in the casino unless you’re a member—unless, of course, you enjoy standing around like an idiot watching other people play. So, first, you're forced to mess around with these crappy registration terminals, only to wait 45 minutes just to stand in another line for 10 more minutes to get those precious membership cards. And then, just when you think you’re finally in, they hit you with the brilliant news that if you’re not an Australian citizen, you need to have your passport on you, because apparently, no other form of ID is good enough for them. There weren’t any signs or warnings—nothing. The bouncers even let us in with our regular ID cards without bothering to mention that the whole thing was pointless without a passport. So, if you’re traveling from abroad, either make sure you drag your passport along, or better yet, just avoid this place altogether. It’s not worth the hassle.

Disgusting service from such an establishment, went to stay the weekend with friends as we do once a year, spent over $2,500 in rooms only to find out that the casino poker machines were turned off due to an it upgrade issue, lodged multiple complaints that our weekend was wasted as we purely went there to gamble, as bad as that sounds but still a waste of a weekend and out of pocket expenses, for nothing. After multiple complaints no response. How disappointing from such an establishment that they don’t even have strategies in place to handle these situations. Then to add salt to the wounds decide to go back the following weekend only to get there and be told that the casino was shut down yet again. Checked on the website before travelling there and it said everything was back up and running. Disgusting terrible I cannot even find all the words to express how I am feeling. Clearly I am not an important customer. Get treated better at my local club. The rooms were nice and lucky considering we spent the whole weekend in them.
