High Tea: it was fabulous and really flavoursome! We were so fortunate to get a great seat with a view. The sandwiches were really nice and the bread was so fresh and spongy. The savoury food of the high tea was really good and its the first time that I’ve loved and eaten everything on the plate. The sweets were in fact very sweet but still really yum. The scones were a great texture and generous size, maybe a little flavourless but I guess that’s what lashings of jam is for! Or maybe I’m just accustomed to lemonade scones… I would 100% go back here and recommend it to everyone! If I was going to be critical, I unfortunately had egg shell in my sandwich which was a shame but on the other hand, the chicken sandwich was SO good that it made up for it. A fast turn around and nice ambience.

The complete package! The Gunners Barracks is in a lovely part of Sydney with stellar views of the harbour. If you’re lucky enough to have some good weather, it’s near some nice walking routes too. However, even if you’re unfortunate enough to have the most dismal weather imaginable, the barracks will deliver with high quality food and exceptional service! We attended for a Champagne High Tea and were served by a lovely lady named Kelly, who was outstanding! Furthermore, the food during our and of course the tea was delightful. The carrot cake and quiche were my personal standouts, with my partner similarly loving the carrot cake and scones. Highly recommend adding to your bucket lists!

Our wedding at Gunner’s Barrack was an absolute successful. We had a fairly good size of 80 guests for the venue. It is a stunning historic location and the staff and food were just as amazing on the day. A huge thank you to Gabriella for helping in planning our wedding and ensuring everything went smoothly. We’d also like to extend our gratitude to the entire GB team on the day for making it so special from the moment we arrived. A special thank you to our event manager, Tom, who was exceptionally attentive and kept the day flowing seamlessly, especially when my bridesmaids were running late for the ceremony! Tom was truly our go-to person for everything. It was such a memorable day and we highly recommend the venue !

When looking for wedding venues, we couldn’t go past Gunners Barracks. It was the only venue we looked at and we knew instantly that it would be the perfect backdrop for our classic wedding. The venue is elegant and world class with stunning harbour views and beautiful decor, it requires little styling. The staff were incredibly attentive and the day ran so flawlessly. We had many compliments from our guests on the service, food and beautiful venue. We had some rain on our day but the staff took excellent care to accomodate our needs so that the weather did not bother us. The food was exceptional and we loved having a dedicated wedding coordinator, Jessica, to take so much planning off our plates. On the night, the event ran smoothly thanks to our on the day coordinator. I could not fault anything, this venue is exceptional and we had our dream wedding!

We got married at Gunners Barracks in 2024. The venue is elegant, requires minimal styling and has a wonderful view. The food was amazing and all made in house including canapés. They have great drinks packages and cocktails can be added on at a very reasonable price. We got many compliments from our guests and family members regarding their fantastic experience celebrating our wedding at gunners barracks. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Jessica the GB event coordinator. Jessica was very supportive throughout the entire wedding planning process and was very efficient with answering any questions. She is friendly, professional, kind and goes above and beyond!!!! I never felt stressed with wedding planning at all because Jess made everything so seamless! Also the event manager on the day, Tom, kept the day flowing so well! He was truely wonderful and our family were raving about him! Thank you Jess and Tom
