The Miller is currently under necessary renovation. If you accept current minor disruption, room prices are a bargain. We enjoyed a beautifully renovated room with thoughtful design and everything working well. Quiet at night for a peaceful sleep. Excellent service, we were allowed an early check in from the pleasant staff member. We will be back!

The service was terrible! My key didn't work and went to ask for a mew one and the receptionist literally threw a new one at me with a face I'll never forget (as if I did something wrong). Bathroom was full of mould, the place under construction and we never told this in advance, let alone we pay full fare per night. Booked for 2 adults and 2 kids and we were given 2 single beds, no extra linen for the kids.... In the morning I put the sign on the door to get my room cleaned and came back after 4 hours with no clean room (even though when I left, the cleaners were working on our floor). Came back to put my kids for a nap and get knocked on the door for cleaning, which I refused. When they woke up, asked for a change of bins and they told me that it was too late as no cleaners were on site (it was 3.30pm). Again, the face of the receptionists when I kindly insisted I needed a change of bins at least, it was one to remember.... I stayed at better motels, for a fraction of the price and this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel..... Great location though on beautiful North Sydney but the service and amenities made it below average for sure. Would not come back or recommend staying here at all.

Where do I start! Stayed here as a solo traveler in March 2024. I booked a room here as thought the rooms looked gorgeous , new modern and comfortable. Firstly arrived to a hotel that was under construction, not ideal but is what it is. Checked into my room to find it looked nothing like the room I paid $300 for - I don’t mean I just didn’t like the room I mean it looked like a totally different hotel. Old, dated and crummy. Figured out it was “after photos “ of what the hotel WILL look like after renovations (which of course is as lovely.) Complete false representation and advertising and misleading. Shocked as someone who travels extensively as never experienced this. The lady at front desk was very out of her depth and couldn’t explain how this occurred. Eventually I got a new room in the renovated wing ! Funny that. Checked in there - tv doesn’t work. Two hours later and I’ve still not had a shower or relaxed . Then to top it all off the fire alarms went off at midnight for over an hour as a fake alarm. Hotel is not equipped or properly staffed and seem to be very inexperienced . I will be demanding a refund for what was supposed to be a relaxing stop over and was anything but!

After returning from a day/ night out in Sydney, the room air conditioning didn't work and was like trying to sleep in an oven. When reception was informed they asked why we didn't call maintenance, replied that the phone in the room had no cord attached to call out and was very late when we arrived back and had to put kids to bed, not sure what maintenance would do at 10pm? No offer of any sort to improve the stay, free parking or breakfast, and ended up ruining the next days adventures as everyone was exhausted from no sleep.

This was the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The customer service was disgusting. We were not greeted or even said hello to and then when processing our booking the staff were irritable and confused at best. The room was average and unclean. Upon checkout we found the employee asleep and had to wake him up, to check us out. Would suggest this hotel hire some people who are aware of what customer service actually is. Very disappointed.
