Had best 5 star hotel experience in Australia. even we are not highest member status. The reception is extremely patient and friendly welcome and explain things to us, even generous to offer extra welcome drink for me again when I get back to the reception. The room with twin queen beds great for us to have great family staycation. Breakfast is always amazing and service are excellent and quick. Love the sparking wine can be consume even it’s morning and makes me feel so much great holiday mood!

An Unforgettable Evening with Le Petit Chef! My partner and I had the most incredible dining experience at Le Petit Chef at the InterContinental Double Bay. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The concept itself is magical - watching the world’s smallest chef prepare our meal right on the table through the immersive projections was unlike anything we’ve experienced before. It transformed dinner into entertainment and created such a romantic, fun atmosphere. The staff were outstanding - friendly, professional, and attentive without being intrusive. They truly went above and beyond to make our evening special. The food was exceptional, with each course beautifully presented and delicious. The service was impeccable throughout. This is more than just a meal - it’s an experience that creates lasting memories. My partner and I left feeling absolutely delighted. Thank you to the entire team for making our evening truly unforgettable. I cannot recommend this enough for anyone looking for something special, whether it’s a romantic date night or a celebration. Five stars without hesitation

First stay here and found it outstanding - one of the last remaining classic, luxury, properly & professionally-run five-star hotels in the world. Each and every staff member is fantastic. My room had a lovely marble bathroom and the shower, bathtub and toilet were all separate, including everything you could ever need in the amenities provided. The view of the bay was spectacular, especially at night. The location is great being steps from all Double Bay restaurants and pubs. The buffet breakfast is outstanding, where you get an amazing array of fruit and veg to juice yourself according to how much of each fruit and veg you like. The concierge is world-class (Vanessa). Anytime you ring up to get anything from any other area of the hotel (such as housekeeping) is attended to quickly. Yet the price of the rooms is surprisingly low considering the quality you get. It’s also really peaceful and quiet here. This is the hotel which all other hotels should be taking the lead from. Hope to be back in Sydney just to come back and stay here.

My room was a serene retreat, boasting breathtaking views and elegant decor that epitomized luxury. The rooftop pool was a tranquil oasis, with stunning vistas and a peaceful ambiance that invited relaxation. The hotel's subtle yet distinctive signature scent added a touch of sophistication to the overall ambiance. Stayed here from 29-30 Jul. Was disappointed for the price that I am paying and considering that it is an InterContinental-managed property. While the room was nice, it was a little bit dated. However what struck me the most was the hygiene issue here. Was throughly disappointed to find a stained towel, which is already rare in normal hotels, yet alone InterContinental which is supposed to be the flagship brand of IHG. The hot water from the sink was murky too, which was confirmed by the engineering department to be safe to consume. I also found the service here to be mixed-bag, with some staffs were very professional and downright passionate with their work: the front desk and breakfast department who was very attentive and catered to all my needs fast while there were some that couldn’t be bothered, which is disappointing considering it is operating under an Intercontinental brand, which prides itself in flawless service.
