Stayed here in December. Very easy to get to especially from the airport, just catch the train and exit at Museum and it’s a few minutes walk. The hotel is in a great spot, I walked most places, but then you can just get back on the train at Museum and it’s a quick two stops up to Circular Quay and the Opera House etc. the hotel is very nice and staff were very helpful, such as holding onto my bags on the day of departure. My room was very clean and spacious, with a stunning view out across Hyde Park. I didn’t use the gym but it looked fairly well equipped and the pool although small gives such an amazing view off the roof. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Sydney.

Pullman Sydney Hyde Park is a cozy and modern hotel that effortlessly creates a sense of home, right in the heart of the city. My stay was seamless, thanks to the attentive staff. A special mention goes to Victoria, who resolved a few booking issues with ease. Her approach was quick, professional, and incredibly friendly. Staff like her leave a lasting positive impression and make the stay truly comfortable. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed. The windows offer beautiful views of Hyde Park’s greenery, adding a sense of tranquility even in the bustling city center. Each room is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay: a comfortable bed, impeccable cleanliness, and small yet meaningful details that enhance the experience. The hotel’s location is perfect for exploring Sydney. Many iconic attractions are within walking distance, and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby to suit any taste. What stands out most is the welcoming atmosphere. You truly feel like a valued guest, surrounded by people ready to assist you with anything you need. Pullman Sydney Hyde Park is a place you’ll want to return to, knowing you’ll be met with care and exceptional service.

What an all-round fantastic, ideal hotel stay. From the free of charge early check-in grant (11.30am) to 'going green' (no daily housekeeping service with the benefit of earning points, great buffet breakfast to huge room with a bath. Staff all friendly and efficient, room service prompt and hot/fresh. Location is great, 3 minute walk from the closest train station and 6 minute walk from great shops and food hub/mall. Will definitely be returning!

At no point during the online booking process or up to our arrival was it mentioned that only 1 of the 3 lifts would be operating. It took nearly 30 minutes to travel from the car park to level 22. Guests were using the lift to go down first in order to go up. This was a daily issue. It was clear that cost-cutting measures were in place, especially considering I have stayed at this hotel multiple times in the past. Additionally, the carpet outside the bathroom was soaked by housekeeping, and no note was left to explain the situation. While breakfast was decent, it was evident that corners had been cut. I reported all these issues to the Executive Manager and received a generic apology in response, along with an offer to return at a discounted rate. However, I don't think so, especially as a Gold Member and a loyal customer for over 20 years.

Terrible Experience – Checked Out After Just One Hour Our experience at the Pullman Sydney Hyde Park was beyond appalling. What was advertised as a luxurious stay turned out to be a nightmare, and we ended up checking out just one hour after checking in. The room we were given was in a deplorable state. The walls were stained, the upholstery on the furniture was visibly damaged, and the cabinet creaked loudly whenever touched. To make matters worse, there was an actual poop stain on the bathtub—something absolutely unacceptable in any accommodation, let alone a hotel claiming to be premium. We had also requested a rollaway bed in advance, but it wasn’t in the room when we arrived. After calling reception to follow up, we waited for over an hour, and it still never came. This level of service—or lack thereof—was incredibly disappointing. When we raised these issues with the manager, his response was that they were aware of the problems. This left us completely baffled. If they know the rooms are in such a shocking condition, why are they still allowing guests to stay in them? It’s deceitful and shows complete disregard for the guest experience. The false advertising was another major frustration. The room looked nothing like the photos shown online. What was promised as a modern and luxurious space turned out to be outdated, neglected, and outright filthy. The situation was so bad that we couldn’t bear to stay another minute. Fortunately, we managed to secure two rooms at the Sofitel, which was a blessing and provided the quality and service we had originally expected. Attached are photos showing the true state of the room, including the stained walls, damaged furniture, and the appalling condition of the bathroom. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Unless the Pullman Sydney Hyde Park undergoes significant renovations and service improvements, I strongly urge others to avoid this property. It’s far from the standard it advertises, and we will never be returning.
