Love this hotel. Has such a great feel, super quiet and staff are great. Keen to do a longer stay and check out the pool which looks amazing. Great place to stay when hitting the drive in. Breakfast was good as well could just be a bit hotter, food was on the cold side.

Chose this hotel based on location to Raging Waters. Online, it ticked all boxes. Service was great, meals were reasonable. Rooms were clean but not equipped properly. Cups, plates, bowls, spoons, forks, knives etc were not equal eg 1 fork, 3 spoons, 1 plate, 2 bowls in a family room. 1 refrigerator not working when arrived. Coffee and sugar was also not equal - 3 coffees and 5 sugars etc. also note that the hotel is daily serviced rooms (new towels etc). Loved that it was all lower levels and no balconies with a young family, pool was loved, free pool table in lobby was also a hit. Would stay again and hopefully they can fix these issues.

Great for families. Lots of amenities for both adults and kids in a nice quiet location. Not too far from the city. Rooms were very clean and the on-site restaurant serves up a great meal. Looking forward to staying here again.

Stayed here because our usual place was fully booked. Walking through the door, it looks like it would be a great experience. However, when we checked in, we were asked to pay for the room, which we had already paid for online. The receptionist's response was, "It's telling me you haven't paid." Thankfully we weren't required to pay twice, but this seems like a system error that needs rectifying. Although we still had to pay an additional $1.02 and I have no idea why. The hotel is cashless, so you are required to pay the additional card surcharge on everything you buy. Room was concrete and not soundproof. Air conditioning didn't seem to work, as the room became very warm, even on 20 degrees. The little table area had one chair only, so my wife and I couldn't sit together at the table. The sink was tiny with no draining area, so washing a cup or plate resulted in the worktop getting soaked. We don't watch TV, but for those who do, the sofa was not opposite the TV but diagonal to it. The bed was okay, but the pillow was so thick that I had to use a cushion from the sofa to avoid my neck being at a crazy angle. The food menu is very expensive (and would have a card surcharge, making it more expensive), so we went out for dinner instead. We only needed one night, and were leaving early in the morning, so we didn't complain or request changes. We have stayed in better places for $150 a night, and would only consider this place again if offered a substantial discount. It might be to other people's tastes, but not ours. (Room 105)

My name is Timothy and I stayed here in early October. Cons - Never got an e-mail asking for a review after my stay, lots of dust in my room, room service is overpriced (at Mercure I did not have to pay $5.00 extra for a tray), safe stopped working with no warning while I had something in it and when staff got it fixed, they did not offer anything for the inconvenience caused (Mercure offered me a free drink when there was a problem with the safe there), Breakfast closes at 10:00 and I got there at 9:58 but they could not make an exception, I tried to play some movies on the TV but it would keep restarting for no reason and fast forwarding is really slow, Nothing stood out about the service Pros - Location is nice right near the drive-in, Check-in was fast, Room was decent, Bed was comfy UPDATE: Atura Hotel care about their customers. I was contacted by Michelle from the hotel after my feedback by phone and e-mail. I also believe I may have made a mistake when I said that I never got an e-mail asking for a review after my stay. It may have gone to my junk folder and unfortunately it empties after a few days. So I have updated my rating to reflect the current situation. Although this does not change my perception of the room star rating, I have updated it to 3 stars, because I was happy with most of the things in the room like the bed and the pictured rooms. It was just the safe malfunction, tv features problem, and dust that I had a problem with. An additional pro I would like to add is I believe the price to stay at Atura is reasonable value for money.
