We booked a room in Fairmont Resort as a child-friendly place to stay. This was a double-edged sword, as we had many loud school-aged children running through the corridor outside our room, while our almost-2-year-old was asleep. We had requested a cot in our room prior to arrival, which had been confirmed in writing and by telephone, however this was not present and took a long while to be brought to our room once we arrived. The bell boy told us we had to wheel our own bags to our room and return the trolley, as he had 2 other people to transport bags for - not acceptable to us. The complimentary on-site parking was very convenient and greatly appreciated. The food was good, however a little on the expensive side. My wife received a massage at the spa there, which she enjoyed, however the front desk staff member at the spa was not friendly or helpful. There was a playground with slides that was perfect for our little boy, who loved running around and climbing on it. The arcade area was amazing! So many great games to play. The pools looked good, although we didn't have a chance to utilise them. Altogether a good place to stay, with a great range of facilities and activities, but the hotel service standards could be improved.

I visited Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains with my son and elderly parents. The rooms were large and we particularly loved the courtyards overlooking the stunning Blue Mountains. We also loved the fluffy, huge bath towels and the hotel amenities. They are not stock standard and smell amazing. Dinner at Embers was good, as was the buffet breakfast. My father says it's one of the best he's had. Best of all, we were able to bring our family dog. The dog-friendly room had it's own courtyard and we saw a few other dogs onsite. We didn't experience the pools, ice skating rink or golf, however the games room was a hit with my 12 yr old son. I definitely would recommend a stay at this beautiful resort.

There are so many facilities in this place thus the over $350 price tag. We were told we were even the nicest room. But we entered with broken sink n under the sofa has dead insect n food . No plates or water even. The QR code on the paper for restaurant didn't work so we have to go to reception desk but only told that we have to book ourselves. We end up heading out. The view we got from the room was nice but as it's next to swimming pool so it is very noisy. I bet this is a great location for family but no so much for single or couples. Fish tank surface were dirty. Breakfast was decent. But I think the cleanliness of the place can be greatly improve so is the lounge food. There should be a card saying water is at the lobby took us 2nd day to figure out as we went out to buy mineral water. A broken sink n window that are not sealed properly should be fixed rather than letting guest to stay. That leave us a not great impression. If this was taken care of we would have consider coming back.

The location is amazing in amongst the best that Leura has to offer. The hotel accommodation itself, however, is showing its age after being refurbished over 10 years ago. That said we enjoyed the pool, the gym and a wonderful walk around the hotel in the evening after the sun had set. Whilst we didn't do the other activities available it was clear they were a bonus. The kids sections including games room was the best we had seen. Our experience with staff was pleasant and check in / check out was no trouble. Definitely a family hotel vs a couple get away. Some aspects of nostalgia are pretty cool such as a model train set for kids to view

Good customer service from the staff, especially the reception and concierge. Lots of enjoyable amenities including indoor and outdoor pools, tennis court and gym. The gym was well equipped however was somewhat dusty and dirty and in need of a good clean. The tennis court was good, however the tennis balls and racquets provided were in need of replacement. The rooms were reasonably comfortable however looked very old and in need of a refurbishment. In particular, the carpets looked very old and in need of replacement. The bathroom was somewhat small and the shower was in the bath tub, this resulted in water on the bathroom floor whenever the shower was used. The bathroom was also in need of a deeper clean, with mold visible in corners and under the rims of the sink. The buffet breakfast was good, however the lunch and dinner menus lacked variety so we ended up having lunch and dinner at outside restaurants.
