Reviews for Pullman Magenta Shores Resort

Our stay was enjoyable. The town house was spacious and in a great location with access to the beach and pools. Cleanliness could have been better with dirt on the floors, rubbish left from previous tenant and mouldy showers We also had a lot of bugs in the house. So many gnat type flies in one of the bedrooms that our child wouldn't sleep in there.

I booked a one-night stay at Pullman Magenta Shores Resort to celebrate my wife’s birthday. This was meant to be a special surprise, and I mentioned several times during the booking process that my wife was unaware of the plans. We also had other family members joining, and the hotel facilitated their early check-in, which we appreciated. However, the surprise was completely ruined when a receptionist named Maddie called me to confirm everything in front of my wife when the family members arrived early. I had made it very clear during the booking process that this was a surprise, so it was incredibly disappointing that this mistake happened. While the hotel did try to make up for it by sending a bottle of red wine and a cheese platter, the damage had already been done, and it wasn’t enough to salvage what was supposed to be a special and memorable occasion for us. In addition, the breakfast was quite underwhelming. For a 5-star hotel, I expected something more special, but it was very ordinary and not up to the standard you would anticipate from a luxury resort. On a positive note, the rooms were comfortable, the resort itself is beautiful, and its location is convenient, being so close to Sydney. However, the overall experience was overshadowed by the mishandling of what should have been a surprise celebration.

We were very disappointed with our stay, initially excited that we got booking to stay during long weekend. Having stayed in lots of great Pullman hotel, but compared to rest this was a disaster. NO AC working in cold night, no spa working in the room, felt very cold, not much help not much explanation and to add the staff at breakfast not helpful or pleasant, They just need a overall. Management needs upgrading or down grading the hotel to 3 star and not call it Pullman. Giving Pullman a BAD name.

My Wife and I spent 2 nights recently from Sunday to Tuesday at the resort and had a relaxing and enjoyable time. Staff were friendly and helpful, we checked in an hour or so early and the room was ready. We had a Deluxe Studio King room which was clean and tidy. The only downside was it didn't have a bath which would have been very useful on the cold windy day we were there. The Buffet breakfast was in the restaurant with nice views out onto the Lake and golf course. We also took advantage of the late checkout offered by the lovely personnel at the front desk. The best part was spending some quality time with my wife away fro the hustle and bustle of Sydney

I had venue booked for wedding and planned our day for over 9 months were promised so much and wedding planner forgot so much and then on day of wedding didn’t show up so info wasn’t passed on to who took over leaving myself and groomsmen to re decorate reception as venue stuffed it all up The cake was stuffed and my mother in law had to rush up and fix it The person who took over the wedding was so rude and made us feel so stupid for voicing our concerns They missed and forgot a lot of the set up and the food was disgusting barely any guests ate due to the poor quality of food that was served all our guests complained about how sad they were for us about how we were treated. Was supposed to be our dream day but was far from it. I’d never recommend magenta for a wedding at all. Such an expensive place and they can’t even do anything right we wasted so much money because of them
