OH MY GOODNESS! We hosted our engagement party at Taphouse and it was hands down the most perfect venue for our gathering. The staff were absolutely incredible, always around to offer help and were super friendly to chat with at the bar - YOU ARE WONDERFUL! The food was perfect to share and drinks were delicious! Thank you to Achilleas for helping us plan this! We are so grateful for Taphouse hosting us and will be 100% recommending this to all of our friends.

This place, located in Flinders Street in Darlinghurst, was recommended to me for having good chinese food and a great choice of dishes on the menu. So I went for a meal, and I was pleasantly surprised. The premise is spacious and has 3 levels, of which the top level is an open roof top. Meals are being served on every level. The menu offered is a fusion of Chinese/Cantonese and Australian/Chinese cuisine. The food is well presented and very tasty, with each dish having its distinguished flavours and taste. There is a good range of beer on tap available, and wine as well as cocktails are also being served. The staff is customer focused and very friendly. In all, it was a very enjoyable visit, and certainly will not be my last one. I am looking forward to my next visit very soon.

What an awesome refurb of an iconic darlinghurst local pub. Taphouse nails the vibe - DJ in the main bar is the best! Rooftop is spectacular - such a surprise when you walk up the stairs. I can see many summer sessions up there! Chinese food is the hero - absolutely delicious, great mix of veggies, meat dishes & classics. Great quality. Tap beers & cocktails on point!

Great pub for a quick catchup in Darlinghurst. Good Chinese menu, sweet and sour pork and Mongolian lamb are a must try. Cocktails were good too. Superb selection of boutique beers, an easy recommend to anyone in Darlinghurst. Will be back again when visiting Sydney.

Came for St Patrick’s day specials. Living away from Ireland for the past 5 years, spice bag hit the spot! Service amazing! Particularly the accomodating manager and the English man behind the bar. Will for sure be back!
