Reviews for Adina Apartment Hotel Sydney Darling Harbour

I never write bad review on my travel experience, unless it is really obvious and annoying. The worst hospitality I had in my entire life staying in a hotel. Your receptionist needs to learn how to greet and treat guests from Adina Brisbane. I will never come back to this hotel. Room: bath room is leaking, soapy sewer whenever you take shower. Even rooms are dated, I would still give overall 3-4 stars initially, but because of the insincerity of the receptionist I changed my mind and give 1 star to this hotel. The only decent thing is location, 3-4 stars but not worth it at all because of the hostility I had. I though it was only me and was thinking if I did something wrong, but looking at others’ comments: it is relieving, it is truly the receptionist. Thank you for anyone who speak up in the previous google reviews and even Booking.com reviews, very important to treat people how you want to be treated. So I know it is not me, but the hotel staff. Adina Darling Harbour, please learn about hospitality from Adina Brisbane.

We spent three nights at the Adina Darling harbour with my family of three and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is great. Everything you need is within walking distance and the staff were super friendly and helpful. A special mention to Maya and Ellie at the front desk who made our stay all the more enjoyable and comfortable 😄

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a balcony view of the wild life Sydney and the wharf. Lovely quiet hotel. Room not ready but we were slightly early and happy to wait. At 3.40pm I went to the desk to check on the status and was advised the room had been ready for sometime, unfortunately we were not advised as promised. Other than this one thing the staff were lovely and friendly and happy to do anything to help. Our flight was cancelled and they assisted to help us with an extra night and other things we needed. Flooring and rooms are tired and in need of refurbishment which I understand from the staff this is on the plans. Rooms have everything you need. Washer, dryer, oven, microwave and basic kitchen equipment. Pool was lovely inside/outdoors heated. Sauna not working. Gym also available. Cafe onsite gives guests 10% off and has lovely breakfasts. Keep an eye for daily specials at the cafe too. Would stay here again due to friendly staff and excellent location.

We stayed at Adina Apartments for 4 nights. The location was excellent. Walking distance to everything, including public transport. The apartment we stayed in was a two bedroom "interconnecting apartment " to accommodate our 2 children. Unfortunately, we realised quickly that it was not interconnecting it was a separate adjoining apartment connected by a private hallway. There was no access between the apartments. Our younger child, because of the configuration, refused to sleep in the adjoining apartment and ended up sleeping on the couch in our apartment. Something to be vary of for families with younger children. The apartment we had was tired and in need of a few touch ups however had a magnificent view of Darling Harbour. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again when visiting Sydney.

As others have said, only good thing about this hotel is the location and service. But the location has downsides as it’s a high traffic area and the soundproofing was not good. There is a very popular nightclub right across the road and unfortunately we could hear everything on Saturday night. We stayed in a 2b apartment on the 1st floor and could hear everything which kept waking our kids up. But it is close walking distance to cafes, ferries, city etc. The rooms are extremely outdated, old and just feel gross. The carpet is disgustong, worn and stained. The walls had marks everywhere. It desperately needs new carpet and paint at the least. It also has a funky stench so had to open everything up to clear it out for a few hours. The photos on the website look nothing like it in reality and wouldn’t have stayed here if we had hindsight. This place is in desperate need of a facelift. But the customer service was great, staff were lovely and helpful.
