If you like quirky, interesting, out of the ordinary, friendly welcoming service then the QT Sydney is the place for you. Its in position set right in the heart of Sydney and perfect for a weekend of shopping, site seeing or just relaxing. No its no the cheapest hotel but you absolutely do get what you pay for. I booked a weekend away for my partners 70th and not only did the hotel upgrade us free of charge.to the most beautiful junior suite they also left in the room for our arrival a really fantastic bottle of red wine, macarons and a hand written birthday card. We were both really blown away by this gesture. The junior suite was really quite special a beautiful big bed in the middle of the room, comfortable seating and a huge bathroom with a circular bath. We really both felt spoilt. The bed was so comfortable with great bedding we could have spent a lot of time just in the room. The room comes with a Nespresso machine which is always useful for that first caffeine fix in the morning. You also get a great Marshall blue tooth speaker to enjoy sounds while lounging in the wonderful bed. Everyone one we encountered from the team managing the place could not have been nice or more professional they will go out of there way to make this a special stay. We ate 3 times in the Parlour restaurant and again the food and service could not be faulted. I can recommend the Negroni's and the cheese soufflé. This 70th birthday was made to be extremely special by the QT hotel and we both cannot then them enough.

The location of QT Sydney is excellent, but unfortunately my experience did not feel like a 5-star stay at all. The courtesy level was close to zero and the staff lacked warmth and welcoming hospitality. Cleanliness was also below expectations, which was quite disappointing for a property in this category. Overall, great location — but service, attitude, and hygiene need serious improvement.”

Great location in the State Theatre, although almost missed it walking past. Great decor with the movie theatre aesthetic. Booked through luxury escapes with a bunch of upgrades and benefits. The rooms are spacious and clean, very modern. Close enough to a bunch of sights and restaurants, we walked pretty much everywhere and caught the train when needed. The bar on level 1 and restaurant on ground level were great too

Rooms were luxurious and quirky. No view unfortunately. Parking isn’t onsite but within the same block. Reception staff were polite. Not as extra as other reviewers had described. It was my birthday on day of check in and although I didn’t mention it, I kind of half thought they’d notice and surprise my like other guests had mentioned but not an issue. I would stay again.

Had a great time staying here - great location right in the heart of the CBD which was super convenient. Staff are all amazing from the staff at the door as you enter, to reception, to room service delivery. I had a few issues with the TV casting and the bath draining and calling reception was easy and they helped me out with no issues and were really nice. Also a cool and funky place - the reception lobby is decorated very cool, as are the rooms. Overall a fun and nice stay!
