⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had an absolutely brilliant night at Zaffi in the CBD. We started with all the Lebanese classics — creamy baba ghanoush, fresh hummus, crispy potatoes, warm breads, and a fantastic manoush — then moved on to the main lamb, which was melt-in-your-mouth good. Washed it all down with bottles of wine, some really fun cocktails, and a few vodka lime & sodas. Our 7:30pm booking was perfect because at around 10:15, the place transformed into a full-blown supper club — live drum, people dancing on chairs, and just an amazing, high-energy vibe. On top of that, we scored 35% off with EatClub, which made the night even sweeter. Highly, highly, highly recommend for both the food and the atmosphere — it’s dinner and a party all in one.

Amazing venue, good music and drummers! Food was actually so good and a decent amount for a set menu. Great for group celebrations. The GM on shift was so nice and accommodating. We will be back again!

I had a really disappointing experience at Zaffi last night. We arrived at 9:50 pm and were told our table wasn’t ready. The staff member insisted we wait outside in the freezing cold and said we weren’t allowed to stand inside. This was the first red flag and felt extremely rude. At 10 pm, when I checked again, we were told the table still wasn’t ready but now we could wait inside. That made no sense at all. After waiting a further 30 minutes, we were finally seated at 10:30 pm. By then, the vibe and excitement for the night were completely gone. When it came to ordering food, we were pressured into getting the banquet, even though when I booked over the phone I was told we could order from the regular menu. The male staff member had to check with a female staff member, and her dismissive facial expression and attitude were unprofessional. On top of all this, the food was not enjoyable at all — in fact, it was barely edible. For a venue that charges customers $50 per person if they are late, I find it unacceptable that the restaurant doesn’t hold itself to the same standard when they keep customers waiting. What was meant to be a fun night out was completely ruined by poor service, unprofessional staff, and bad food. I will never be returning, nor will I recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic middle eastern food-the circular bread with dips was so full of flavour. We loved the lamb and the tomatoe salad with feta and cawliflower were excellent. Some of Sydney’s best middle eastern food. Delicious. And great mocktails.
