Stayed there on a weekend. I think it’s not really value for money. Not overpriced but I feel for the price, it could be a bit better. Out of 3 days of our stay, the jacuzzi was working only 2 days and the water in it looked like needed a clean. The place has indoor and outdoor pools. The outdoor one wasn’t used much as it wasn’t very warm those days. But the indoor pool too was heavily used and I felt the water quality could have been better. The place has train rides and merry go round for kids, but it only runs at 2 specific times during the day and they cancel it if it rains. There do have some adventure areas but it was closed too. Also the paddle boats in the pond were out of service too. There was an advertisement of pony rides and signs all over the resort, but we were told that it hasn’t been running for a while now. They do have quite a big golf course and also a gym. I think for families with kids there wasn’t a lot of activities you could do in the resort apart from the pool and the play area. The staff was friendly and helpful overall. But during the day you are better off visiting the nearby towns or do some site seeing.

I was expecting a very nice clean room because the reception and the entrance are both amazing. I felt disappointed when i stepped in inside the lift. Looks like they haven't done any touch up with all the scratches on the wall. The room smells yucky, and the shower is not very strong enough. The sink is mouldy. The $224 per night is not worth it!!! This room is worth less than the amount we paid. The carpeted floor is very filthy too. Be reasonable to price the room. I can also hear people walking on the hallway and the next room to us.

I had an amazing experience at Fairmont Resort & Spa Blue Mountains. The location is breathtaking, surrounded by stunning natural beauty, making it a perfect escape from the city. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, with elegant rooms that are spacious, clean, and offer spectacular views. The amenities are outstanding! The indoor and outdoor pools, spa, and walking trails made our stay extra special. The resort is also very family-friendly, with a fantastic kids’ play area and even an ice-skating rink! Dining at the resort was a delight—the breakfast buffet had a great variety, and the evening dining experience was cozy and enjoyable. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. Overall, Fairmont Resort & Spa is a fantastic getaway for families, couples, and anyone looking to relax in the heart of the Blue Mountains. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to return!

Overall it was a satisfactory stay. Special mention to Karen who managed the casual dining area (across from the Reception) on our 1st night. She really went out of her way to make our dining experience a pleasurable one. We returned to the same dining area the following night, and some other dude was managing it that night who was far below Karen's standard and the experience wasn't as great. We encountered Karen again in the buffet breakfast area on our checkout morning, and just could see how great she was by observing how joyfully she was liaising with all the guests. It is the people who make all the difference. The rooms are not new, but well kept and quite comfortable. The Resort overall has more than enough activities to keep everyone engaged, especially kids. Will surely be back.
