We visited the Oxford whilst on a mini break in Sydney. It was such a fun and friendly atmosphere as we just happened to be there the night Maxi Shield hosted trivia. We felt welcomed and looked after. Next time we are up, we will definitely return to the Oxford for a meal, a drink, and a good time. Also love the Wicked theme!

We came to Oxford while visiting Sydney and were so happy to do so. As a queer person, the atmosphere was friendly and inclusive. The staff were fabulous and we were so excited to see Maxi Shield host a quiz. Just had an absolute blast.

Tried to enter the bar. Doorman aggressively interrogated me about how much I’d been drinking. I was not drunk, but when I responded to him, he became more aggressive. He entered a power trip mode and wouldn’t let me in. Eventually victim-blamed and accused me of being the problem. I just read previous reviews and am curious if I was discriminated against bc I am brown.

Love this pub - great vibe! Nice staff members, very friendly. Great food options (not much vegetarian options though- very few sadly). Wide range of great cocktails. I go there very often and particularly sitting outside is a great place for a lazy Sunday. Highly recommend!

Terrible experience on Friday night. We went out for a staff work party, and the security guards employed racial profiling when reviewing ID. They exclusively reviewed only the POC members of the group, and created an overall hostile environment. Once again, a terrible experience
