We stayed at the hotel for 10 days. The staff were extremely accommodating and addressed any issues immediately. Self service laundry, indoor pool and hot tub with doors opening to the fresh air and yoga mats made sure we stayed limber. The location can't be beat. Walkable to the botanical gardens and the opera house, a few restaurants are in the building and others close walking distance.

Best hotel ever. Amazing rooms makes you not want to leave, great service from staff, overpriced drinks at bar. Love the happy hour for cocktails. Good room service food. Lovely view. Perfect hotel

Had a nice one-night stay here due to a flight cancellation. We enjoyed the breakfast very much, as well as the social hour and complimentary mini bar. The shower is awesome. Only con was that it was extremely noisy - they gave us a room facing the street and we could hear loud music and traffic into the wee hours of the night. We also only had a small window that looked out onto the construction happening at the front of the building. Overall, we’d come back but we’d make sure to ask for a better room. Side note - the interior design / branding is very cool. The hotel branding reminded me of The Hoxton hotel chain in the US - edgy yet comfortable and high end.

My girlfriend booked this hotel as a treat and we were so disappointed. There seemed to be a card coloured system that gave you different access to some of the hotel’s services. On check in it was highlighted that because we had booked through a different provider than them (at the exact same price mind you) we would kind of be treated like second class citizens and the coloured cards were the segregations between the classes. Because of that, it felt we also good a room that has passed its best. The cleanliness wasn’t bad but the wear and tear were apparent. Especially on the sofa and in the bathroom. Despite not being part of the Ovolo “club” we went to the bar for a drink. I would suggest that the only people that go there are the ones to get drinks for free as it was very quiet. It was also a let down in terms of quality. Another $50 wasted on 2 poor cocktails. After that experience, we never used the hotel facilities again as we felt we were taken for a ride. Over $500 per night for the room and being made feel the way we were wasn’t on. I’ll be spreading the word.

A falling “5”-star. A second stay was a disappointment compared to the first. Maybe a change in management recently has lead to a downturn in service. A superior room turned out to be 50% corridor and with an old bathroom interior. Bed and cushions were a delight. Breakfast was an experience in sloppy service and presentation despite few guests. Few choices, no labels and in parts not fresh. Warm food served overly salted on half plate. Lost and misplaced orders. On question were and how to give feedback the answer was “share it with us here in the reception” - which is not how it should be done if continues improvement is a goal.
