We stayed at the hotel for 10 days. The staff were extremely accommodating and addressed any issues immediately. Self service laundry, indoor pool and hot tub with doors opening to the fresh air and yoga mats made sure we stayed limber. The location can't be beat. Walkable to the botanical gardens and the opera house, a few restaurants are in the building and others close walking distance.

We stay away for the night from our 3 kids under 5 for our wedding anniversary every year, so picking a hotel is crucial as it’s a very limited time away. WOW. Cannot fault a single thing. From the minute our beautiful Irish friend at reception greeted us with her beautiful smile and warm laugh, we knew it was going to be the place we returned year after year. We stayed on Mardi Gras night, it was so exciting, and the atmosphere at the hotel was next level! Such a fun vibe and soooo quiet unexpectedly. The room was spotless and the complimentary mini bar came in such handy, we didn’t need to think of a thing. 5 stars plus. Thanks so much for having us and we will see you again next year with Bells on!!! (From 2 very tired parents).

Best hotel ever. Amazing rooms makes you not want to leave, great service from staff, overpriced drinks at bar. Love the happy hour for cocktails. Good room service food. Lovely view. Perfect hotel

The cocktails and the full vegan Bar snacks menu at the Alibi Bar where such a delight that we spontaneously decided to stay the night at Ovolo, the front desk was exceptionally friendly and accommodating and a free mini Bar will from now on be a prerequisite for a 5 Star review despite the fact that freebies make very little difference to me in general it is great touch and adds a lot to the overall welcoming feeling a hotel should strive to instill in its patrons. The room was nice with water views and the bed and bedding was high quality as is to be expected from a good hotel. The location with its old industrial charm in the heart of Sydney a stone’s throw from the NSW Art Gallery is fantastic. Breakfast buffet was well presented with great variety delicious and healthy, good barista made coffee in a cosy setting. We didn’t make use of this service this time but apparently the hotel is pet friendly as well. Overall an exceptional little boutique hotel.

Had a nice one-night stay here due to a flight cancellation. We enjoyed the breakfast very much, as well as the social hour and complimentary mini bar. The shower is awesome. Only con was that it was extremely noisy - they gave us a room facing the street and we could hear loud music and traffic into the wee hours of the night. We also only had a small window that looked out onto the construction happening at the front of the building. Overall, we’d come back but we’d make sure to ask for a better room. Side note - the interior design / branding is very cool. The hotel branding reminded me of The Hoxton hotel chain in the US - edgy yet comfortable and high end.
