Love this hotel to stay for a quick getaway. The location, the pool & spa brilliant! Having a bar at the pool is fantastic if you like to have a cocktail whilst relaxing. Beach is directly opposite & lovely. A lot of cafes & food options. The customer service is fantastic! Only negative is the standard king size ocean rooms are tiny.

Staff didn't attend to clean our room at 12pm although had cleaned every other room telling us "your room isn't on your list" the next day we went out hoping to at least have the room clean by 3pm- no cleaning or even changing of the beds just had someone arrive offering fresh towels. We paid around $600 a night and not once was the room cleaned. I emailed the manager and they said we "declined" the cleaning- perhaps that's because by 4pm in the afternoon after being out all day we were hoping to come back to a clean hotel to relax in. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Not to mention how disgusting the pizza and room service food was

Excellent location, great service and the breakfast options are substantial. Would just advise that if you are staying without kids or elderly, choose your dates carefully as the pool/spa can be dominated by kids (ie we chose Aus Day weekend and as expected the pool are was jammed). Overall happy with the stay.

Great location by the sea. Found the staff a little distant, and the service somewhat ordinary. The hotel itself is ok, obviously renovated to avoid feeling so dated, and it mostly achieved this, although there are still some aspects where the building still show its age. Everything from the rooms to the food to the cocktails at the pool are probably overpriced for what you get. Car parking at $35 a day is a total ripoff, although there are 4 free EV chargers in the carpark, which is handy.

It’s a great place to sit with friends on the weekend for a few drinks, as we often do as locals most Sundays. Love the live music… except when it’s way too loud, like last Sunday (and semi-regularly is). It was to the point where we couldn’t have a conversation. We came to socialise on a chill Sunday afternoon and while the first musician was really pleasant to have playing, the band that followed had the volume way too loud. Note: I do appreciate a solo musician and a full band are going to play at different levels, however there is a volume level on their PA that easily could come down a notch. It’s not a nightclub, it doesn’t need to be blasting for people to hear it. The music should enhance the experience, not ruin it. I asked a staff member about this, who went to speak with a manager. He was very polite and he did try… but came back to me and said “the volume was set before they started so they can’t change it”, which is absolute nonsense. I’m quite certain if a noise regulation inspector came in to check they would have found that master volume dial that was within arms reach of the guitarist. No staff member approached the band to ask them to bring it down a little. While seated we actually checked the noise level on an app and can confirm it would not have passed an inspection, so I think staff should take these things a little more seriously than to make up a silly reason not to deal with something. Otherwise usually the atmosphere is pretty great on a Sunday afternoon and I can in general recommend coming for drinks, and the chips are pretty good. The pizza isn’t bad. Side note: the band was good! We definitely would have enjoyed them if it wasn’t so loud we couldn’t hear ourselves think.
