Reviews for Meat District Co.

We had the combo of burger and ribs. The meat is soft and well-seasoned, and the ribs taste fantastic. It was the right decision that we asked for the burger's patty to be doubled. We also made the most of happy hour, placed an order for some more snacks and drinks. Fantastic music and an amazing view. The staff are attentive and friendly.

we ordered watermelon salad with goat cheese and macadamia nuts and rocket, a.k.a. arugula. They gave four large chunks of watermelon, so it was a really good size and I loved the combination of all the flavors together. The bone marrow, which was very hefty portion, they were not small, and I love how it was paired with Dijon mustard, so it helps lessen the heaviness of the bone marrow, delicious pairing! The onion rings were perfect classic beer, battered onion, rings, cooked just right And the best dish was the brie and cranberry jam burger the combination of those flavors the savory in the sweet is superb. I will definitely come back again.

The restaurant was very busy on a Friday night. It took almost 10 min after we were seated for our server to come over. We had to ask for the water twice before we got it. We are tourists in Australia, so we ordered exotic meats, kangaroo steak and crocodile burger. I would say the meats were cooked well but both were not good meats for eating. The kangaroo was chewy and the crocodile meat was hard to described, definitely didn’t taste like chicken.

A tour guide suggested this restaurant since I was looking to taste kangaroo during my visit to Sydney in December & it was a nice walk from my Airbnb in Chinatown. Went during a weekday evening that wasn't too busy, though no one greeted me when I entered and the waitress spent a lot of time with a couple so thats the reason for my low rating on service. The food, however, once I received it was pretty delicious but slow to come out. Drank 2 glasses of wine before my dish actually was served. The best point is the amazing view of the harbor, especially if you can get a table along the windows. Meal was reasonably priced but I'd look for another venue for your kangaroo craving.

Would definitely come again! Came with my whole family who had heaps of requests, the staff were so kind and patient. Food was absolutely delicious, great flavours & came nice and hot. This is our go to when we come to Sydney!
