Had our baby moon during Easter holiday there. The location is convenient. Amazing service when we checked in. Received a room upgrade with cake and fruit platter. Don’t be mention the most lovely handwritten card from the staff. Late check out also provided. We really enjoy our time there. Will definitely visit again. Thank you.

Nice staff. Great location for events at Darling Harbour. Clean. Compact rooms. 2 criticisms: There is a lot of water wasted while you wait 5 to 7 minutes for hot water to come through. We read this in other reviews on Google and those reviews were accurate. Air conditioning does not work. It was quite cold all night. If I didn’t have my heater husband with me, I would’ve had to go and get extra blankets.

I recently stayed at the Woolstore 1888 Hotel and was genuinely impressed by its understated luxury and old-world charm. Housed in a beautifully restored 19th-century wool store, the hotel strikes the perfect balance between heritage character and modern comfort. Think exposed brick, timber beams, and thoughtful design details that make the whole place feel warm and welcoming. The ambience is relaxed yet refined, and the service was faultless—friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. One of the standout features for me was Percy, the hotel’s restaurant. Their tapas menu was delicious (highly recommend the lamb croquettes!) and breakfast each morning was equally impressive, with great coffee and fresh, flavourful options that made it worth staying in. Location-wise, it’s hard to beat. Just a short stroll from Darling Harbour, the city’s best shopping, dining, and cultural attractions are all within easy reach. It made exploring Sydney a breeze. If you’re looking for a stay that feels a little bit special—something with history, heart, and a touch of quiet luxury—Woolstore 1888 is a beautiful choice

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Woolstore 1888 Hotel. The decor is a unique blend of historical charm and modern, funky design. The location is ideal—just a short walk to Darling Harbour, the ICC International Convention Centre, and the Convention Light Rail station—making it perfect for accessing local entertainment and attractions. Conveniently located across the road is a multi-storey car park with reasonable overnight rates. Percy’s restaurant and bar right in the foyer had a great breakfast menu, we would have loved a drink at the bar after the show but we got in bit too late. Looks like a great spot to unwind with a relaxed meal or drink after a big day. The staff topped off the stay> Each and every team member we interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We will definitely try and stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Tiny room without great view BUT fabulous service, and the comfiest bed! We flew in for dinner & a show for my husband's birthday and the hotel graced us with birthday treats & a late check out. Not too much traffic noise. Windows actually opened. Breakfast was downstairs and the food & coffee was excellent. Walking distance to many attractions. We felt very cared for by the staff. We really enjoyed our short stay and will definitely come here again when next in Sydney.
