We travelled from Brisbane to see Tom Jones and Rocky Horror and stayed in this fabulous hotel. We had a loft room and the bed was very comfy. A cosy room with everything we needed. The outstanding thing was the staff and Mr Percy's, the bar/restaurant on site. We arrived a little early but our room was ready and we were checked in by the lovely lady on reception. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. The manager of Mr Percy's was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable on food and wine. Their wine range was fantastic - quite a few variations from the boring old 7 or 8 wines you find everywhere. Easy walking distance to the ICC and lots of lovely eateries on Darling Harbour. Absolutely loved the hotel, charming and funky and tonnes of personality but the comfort was there too.

We spent 4 nights here at the start of our Australian trip and we could not have asked for more. We arrived at 10.30am after a 34 hour journey and the staff were brilliant. Got us early entry to our room and made us feel like royalty. The rooms are spotless with everything you might need, from lovely scented toiletries to chilled soft drinks in the fridge. Every member of staff was helpful, friendy and polite. The location of the hotel is great - literally a few minutes to trains, ferries, open top bus tour stops and plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. There's also a guest laundry which was great as we could move to our next destination with all clean clothes in our case. We hope to visit Sydney again in the future and will definitely stay at the Woolstore.

This is THE HOTEL to stay, when you’re in Sydney. The hospitality staff are so lovely, they’ll charm your socks off. Our room was super clean, we could stream our iPad to the TV and the drinks in the fridge are complimentary. We also added breakfast in our stay and was definitely a great way to start the day. We were also graced with a cheeky lolly bar to take away on our day out. Thank you so much for a beautiful little trip away and thank you again to the generous staff.

What a lovely hotel right in the heart of Darling Harbour. Everything was 5 star. All the little extras were well thought out - just loved the complimentary lolly bar . Thanks The Woolstore for a wonderful experience. Can highly recommend this establishment 😊

Amazing service and location. Really liked the loft style room. Didn't get to have dinner at Mr Percy's but breakfast was fantastic, great coffee. Love the styling downstairs and the history of the building.
