Top food and service on Saturday the 23rd. All staff were friendly and described each of the 6 courses perfectly. There were flavours I hadn't tried In some of the dishes and I mean that in a very postive way. The new house gin cocktail is unbelievably good. Well done with whoever came up with that one . Have already recommended it to friends. Thanks again

Luke Nguyen's wonderful restaurant was made for this location. It's relaxed but refined. It's spacious yet cozy. It's filled with natural light and looks directly into the lush greenery of the Botanic gardens. We enjoyed a sumptuous Valentine's Day set menu which included complementary welcome cocktails and a 🌹. Every single dish was a winner, some were single mouthfuls of flavour whilst others were very generously sized. The sauces were extraordinary and the presentation modern. The staff were warm, welcoming and professional and more than happy to provide explanations and guidance. The cocktails are refreshing and the wine list more than adequate. One of Sydney's best kept secrets - will be back!

I got invited by my sister to have a full course lunch at the botanic house dining by well known Masterchef participant Luke Nguyen. Atmosphere It was nice quiet lunch where we had full window seats, its amazing space to catch up and talk for hours while exploring unique dishes. The food It was had right amount of dishes that depicted a good range of flavours. The techniques used in some dishes are very advanced as expected from fine dining . The dessert Fusion Vietnam flavours were injected into dessert was an interesting end to a flavourful tasting experience. Was very surprised at this however it was not to me and my sister’s palate to appreciate it. Would recommend to try it out once in while for those special occasions you want to cherish forever.

We absolutely loved our meal! The food was delicious and the setting is lovely. We had the set lunch meal with cocktails and wine through Red Balloon - it was a good deal. Every dish was interesting. We were given a complimentary birthday cake which was a nice touch. Recommend trying for something special.

This restaurant is really for couples odd numbers are not as accomodating. Bigger group past 9 there's a surcharge which is weird because the service they for sharing for two people. The confusion and stress over the weird rules and regulations for this place make it difficult for guests that wants to split the tables into different groups. We could have just put 4 pax on the other table which was possible too. There was confusion over this because we had two different people and tables which was perfect because ladies had to be separate from the men's in this occasion which was probably not understood by the staff. The food is amazing and the monks enjoyed the meal prepared by the talented chefs in the kitchen. Price wise it is a bit pricey but the quality of plating and food preparation was perfect. The staff made an extra effort to accommodate us early to finish within an hour. Highly recommended for small groups or couples.
