We recently had an NRL final cruise on the Starship Sydney. Amazing experience. A huge shout out to the crew and hospitality staff. Staff serving food and the bar (although absolutely swamped) were polite and courteous. Even the floor manager rolled up his sleeves and got stuck in. Great leadership. Despite the usual complaints like “she went the wrong way with the food!!!” My husband and I have nothing but praise for those above and below decks. Front of house can only be as good as those cooking, glass/dish washing etc. Unfortunately I did not have a grand final and the cruise director allowed me to return to the harbour on board. Given the chance to watch the employees go into action cleaning up. Very impressive. Also chatted with a crew member from my home town of Liverpool, England. Final a great big hug and thanks to the young lady and gentleman from the ship who took me under their wing and got me safely back to Circular Quay. They themselves were going to Manly. Cruise was the highlight of my weekend. Thanks again.

We had our Christmas Party dinner on the Starship. It was great. They started with canapes of steamed prawn gyoza then also presented Peking duck pancakes and mini haloumi sliders. For the main meal I had the slow cooked braised lamb shanks. My friend has the chicken breast. For dessert, I had the vanilla panba Cotta. The other selection was a chocolate mousse Everything was excellent. Various beers and wines were available.

We had our wedding reception aboard Starship Aqua in March. Ingrid, Ben and the entire Starship team were fantastic!! From the start nothing was too much trouble and they were happy to work with us to create our vision for our wedding. Our guests still rave about how fantastic our reception was!! On the night service & food was 5 star and everything went perfectly to plan.

Cruise with international tour operator program for Sydney Marathon. Very bad experience, too long (2h incl. 45min at slow speed to approach the deck). Very little choice of beverages or food included in the offer, not enough seats for the guests…who will run 26 miles less than two days later.
