We had our Christmas Party dinner on the Starship. It was great. They started with canapes of steamed prawn gyoza then also presented Peking duck pancakes and mini haloumi sliders. For the main meal I had the slow cooked braised lamb shanks. My friend has the chicken breast. For dessert, I had the vanilla panba Cotta. The other selection was a chocolate mousse Everything was excellent. Various beers and wines were available.

I was on the Vivid lights cruise, 8pm 15th July on Starship Sydney. While I didn't have a bad time there were a few issues that need to be addressed. Firstly there was inadequate seating for the number of passengers. I was lucky to get a spot on the top deck. But later passengers were forced to sit on the floor inside. They would have been extremely disappointed with their night. The biggest issue was that not once did I hear any announcements made. I don't know if anyone would know what to do in an emergency. Finally there was bit of a crush as everyone tried to disembark through a single doorway.

We spent the NYE on this cruise, Unlimited champagne and beers. A lot of food but the quality was not the best… We got the best view to the fireworks. The music was very good. We had a very good time. It’s probably worth the money
