Let me start by saying how great the customer service is here. Without a doubt one of the best experiences for customer service i have experienced. For wine enthusiasts there is quite a selection to choose from as well, so if this is your thing then you will have an amazing time : ) The beers on tap were great also. The food was good overall, some dishes were exceptional such as the prawn and chorizol skewers, Patatas Bravis was also very good.

My friend took me to Balcon for a birthday lunch and it was divine. We were served by the lovely Camilla, and she was so warm and friendly, and gave great advice about which food to order. We loved everything we had, my only critique would be that that octopus was a little salty, but nothing a squeeze of lemon couldn’t fix. Will definitely be back! Thank you Camilla and team.

We came here for the $98 Special Menu and was impressed by the interior design of the restaurant. We were seated next to the wall of wine bottles that looked cool, but unfortunately, a number of flying insects also seemed to be attracted to the yellow lights and were hanging out with us for the entire meal. Service was really attentive, each dish was named and explained, dishes were served efficiently. Food-wise, I would describe them as generally very salty, but here are out feedbacks on each dish: - Jamon Fritto was tasty but it was not crispy at all - Croqueta del dia and the prawn & chorizo pinxto were nice - Anchovy tostada was salty but balanced out by the bread underneath, but the bread was stale - House mato cheese with honeycomb was the dish of the day for me but I wished there would be more honeycomb and bread (even if it's stale) - Jamon Serrano was the most unbalanced dish, too salty, should have been served with more melons - Pollo al Carbon was perfectly cooked except for one piece (that was over), but the salsa brava was too salty and sour - Fried potatoes were done perfectly Overall, the eating environment would have been very nice if not for the flying insects. Service was excellent. Food was too salty and lack that flavour balance.

The team at Balcon are truly in a league of their own—flawless from start to finish. Every dish that hit the table was a masterclass in flavor and finesse. Lucus, our phenomenal waiter, was a guiding light through the menu, helping us strike the perfect balance of variety and portion—and his knowledge of the specials was spot on. The lamb chops? Utterly sublime—tender enough to melt away with a glance. The oysters, salmon, and tuna that tasted like they’d been caught moments before. The cod croquettes were golden perfection, paired with a garlic aioli that packed just the right amount of punch. We shared the thick-cut skirt steak, which came off the grill juicy, bold, and beautifully charred—ideal for sharing, though you’ll wish you didn’t have to. And just when we thought we couldn’t take another bite, the Basque cheesecake arrived… and absolutely stole the show. Easily the best I’ve had in my life—so good we abandoned any thoughts of restraint and devoured it to the last bite. An unforgettable meal. We’ll be back. Thank you again to Lucus, Antonin and the team.

Business meeting with international guests on a weeknight so we decided on the Deluxe Set Menu. TLDR; Quality food & wines. Rushed pacing and small serves of proteins. One slice of cheesecake for 3 guys to share at a business dinner. SMH Excellent selection of wines esp Spanish which impressed the wine savvy guests. Compliments to the knowledgeable staff as well who were discreetly attentive on a quiet evening. Food pacing felt rushed despite the quietness and the serving sizes (esp the proteins) were unexpectedly small for sharing between 3 hungry guys. The cabbage salad was a standout as was the steak. The awkwardness came to a head with being forced to share a single slice of Basque cheesecake. I was too embarrassed take a picture of it and if I knew this prior, would've ordered separate desserts. The images show all the food served for 3 people.
