Another quick romanic getaway. The rooms or suites are all fabulous. We had the suite this time round with a big bath. Our room faced the corner he was definitely trying to impress me with this surprise. I felt like l was walking in a maze. At the end of the path was the bedroom. We'll be back, Vibe.

I enjoyed my stay at the Vibe Hotel North Sydney. The location is unbeatable – super close to the train station and all the shops and businesses in North Sydney. My room was clean, modern, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for anyone needing a convenient and pleasant stay in North Sydney.

We had this accomodation booked months in advance. When arriving at around 11PM on the first night we were met with a room dilemma - a section of the hotel had apparently just flooded and the carpet from the carpet cleaning was not dry yet. Our options were to sleep in the room with the wet carpet or to sleep in a room without air-conditioning. Considering we were paying around $450++ a night (Taylor Swift made all hotel prices go up this weekend) we weren’t very pleased. Coming from a retail/service background I don’t usually complain but how can you offer a customer paying a lot of money a room with no air-conditioning or a room with wet floors - not to mention the room we were given wasn’t even correct, we requested twins. A very small discount was offered and we accepted but still not entirely happy with the outcome. Other than this hiccup our stay was great. Great location, close to train station, close to bus stop, close to fast food, restaurants, grocery stores, retail outlets. The room was nice and clean. The Gym was decent and the pool looked nice.

This hotel is conveniently located minutes away from North Sydney Station and across from the Victoria Street Metro Station. We stayed in a comfortable king studio room with kitchenette and small lounge. The room was immaculately clean with everything in working order. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even giving us a friendly reminder when we slept in and almost missed check out! Great value for a perfect base for your Sydney getaway without the hussle and bussle of the CBD.

We intended to stay with Vibe North Sydney for NYE but had to cancel our booking and seek alternative accommodation last minute due to a non-functioning vent/exhaust system in the room's bathroom. The exhaust fans in all bathrooms of the hotel do not work properly: they do not remove any odour or steam as it seems to simply be a vent in the top corner of the bathroom ceiling. As sufferers of asthma, the lingering presence of steam and other odours in the bathroom made it difficult to stay in the room. I must give credit to the hotel staff for offering a room change and showing us 4 additional rooms, but the fact that not a single one had a functioning exhaust fan highlights there is an urgent maintenance issue that needs to be addressed. If one can get past this issue however, the rooms are actually quite nice and presented very well, in addition to the mini fridge being generously stocked. The view from our room was however, quite disappointing: the walls of two other buildings was all that was visible. I must also note the on-site car parking is one of the worst I have seen. The Wilson parking complex that the hotel puts guests in has approximately 8 levels, with the hotel parking being located right at the bottom on levels 1 and 2. This meant we had to drive our car down 6 levels of tight corners and speed bumps. I can only imagine the hassle for someone wanting to drive their car regularly. The reception staff were professional and kind enough to offer us a full refund since we were not happy with our room, which I am grateful for, but in my honest opinion I would not return to Vibe North Sydney, especially after an absolutely exceptional stay at our alternative accommodation, Novotel Sydney Central.
