I joined my team for lunch and ordered cauliflower poppers, buttermilk fried chicken, and blue swimmer crab and prawn spaghetti. The cauliflower poppers were delicious, well seasoned, and had a perfect texture. The buttermilk fried chicken was also fantastic, moist with perfect crunch. Unfortunately, the blue swimmer crab and prawn spaghetti was a massive letdown. The flavours were quite average, and the pasta was overcooked to the point of being mushy, which was really disappointing. I really wanted to enjoy it, but couldn’t get past the texture of the pasta.

Absolutely love the Rook! It’s such a cool, hidden away treasure - one of Sydney’s best kept secrets! My partner and I had a lovely time at the Rook recently for my birthday - rooftop bar with beautiful surroundings/decor, wonderful cocktails and an amazing hostess, Sarah who made us delicious cocktails based on our favourite flavourings and was even kind enough to take some beautiful pictures of us in the gorgeous flower wall/corridor. Thank you so much for making my birthday so special! If you are looking for a great spot for a date night / get together with the girls / celebration or even just for casual drinks / food etc, then definitely check out the Rook! Looking forward to coming back for drinks/food soon!

Very floral and beautiful little bar/restaurant. Not going to lie, little disappointed it was an open rooftop but still great. Amayyyyyyzing burgers! The beef patty was cooked to perfection and the chicken burger was to die for, seriously good food! Literally one of the best. Nice staff, was quiet when we went at midday Friday.

We had lobster rolls and an espresso martini. Was pretty quiet around 7pm on a Saturday so not a lot of atmosphere. Food took quite some time to come out. However it was very tasty. Would absolutely come back, and a good location for a group event I would think.

Gorgeous rooftop bar, the floral decor made me feel like I was in a fairlytale! We ordered everything through the QR code menu. I ordered the spicy eggplant pasta but asked for it to be not spicy, they didn't see (or ignored) my order note. The pasta was also quite overcooked. The chicken wings were decent, a little spicy as well but good flavour. The donut fries were okay, nothing special but fulfilled my dessert cravings. The chicken Caesar salad was what you would expect, honestly probably one of the more worth it food items for the size and price. Food overall 3/5. However the drinks definitely made up for it. The cocktail (pavlova?) was SO good. Probably because of the crushed meringue on top. I love me some sugar! Drinks were a 5/5.
